A lot of Top 25 game on Sunday. Some great games, some not so great.
Here are the great games -
No. 10 Texas vs No. 11 UConn. Say no more!!
No. 3 Stanford at Gonzaga. The Zags are always tough on Stanford, especially at home.
No. 16 Ohio State visits No. 20 Tennessee. This is a big game for the Lady Vols. Can they handle Ohio State's press? A loss takes them out of the Top 25 and sitting at 4-4 on the season. Not good.
No. 2 UCLA at Arkansas. This could be an interesting game. Arkansas has had a good start to their season and are coming off an upset win over ranked Florida State. Former UConn player Saylor Poffenbarger has been an amazing rebounder averaging 12.6 RPG. Can she still reach double digits against the taller Bruins with Betts leading the way?
No. 1 South Carolina heads to Tobacco Road to take on Duke. They played two years ago and Duke gave them a battle after a tough first half and held the Gamecocks to 56 points for the game. They could give them another tough game. Or it could be a blowout.
The rest of the Top 25 games Sunday? I might find an UGGY!

Well, the Orange Idiots strike again. Well, certainly this one particular Orange Idiot. This guy has such an inflated view of the Lady Vols. Insane.
"There’s definitely enough talent on this LVs team to get to the Elite 8 or better. They’ve completely debunked the exaggeration of a lack of talent. Three elite #1 options in Wells, Spear, and Rickea. Three quality Top 15 starter calibers forwards in Sara Puckett, Jillian Hollingshead, and Karo Striplin."
Maybe the Elite Eight? Maybe if Rickea Jackson is 100% but there is no guarentee of that as UConn fans know.
But Wells and Spear at elite No. 1 options? Not elite an No. 1 option. Not even a regular No. 1 option.
Spear is a nice player. Her stats so far?
28.1 MPG, 13.1 PPG, 42.1 FG% , 39% 3PT%, 5.3 RPG, 2.1 APG. Good stats. certainly not elite.
Wells? Really?
23.6 MPG, 7 PPG, 34.7 FG%, 1-16 on threes, 3.9 APG. How in hell is that elite???
Talk about being a homer. Wow!!

Like I've said before UConn has it's share of dumb posters. I posted Geno's Pregame Interview.
This poster had a strange reaction - "After listening to Geno's comments yesterday, my immediate thought was that he should take a leave of absense. I have never heard Geno sound so depressed. Maybe it's time for CD to take over."
My friend Jane had the perfect response - " I thought is an honest look at Geno's mind, and I thought that he answered a lot of the speculation that we have been seeing, especially on this board - recruiting, planning, setting up a season and seeing it all go to hell in a short time, and from then on, it's improvising and throwing the kids into the grown-up pool - torches and pitchforks, blame the trainers, blame SOMEBODY. If he quits over a little adversity, what kind of a message does that send the team?"
You go Jane!!! And that fan that wants Geno to take a leave of absence? Dumb, just dumb.

• Aaliyah Edwards had 1275 career points after the UCLA game. She scored 9 in the Kansas game bringing her total to 1284. She is now 41st and needs to reach 1298 to tie Morgan Tuck.
• Nika Mühl had 450 assists after the UCLA game. She recorded 6 in the Kansas game bringing her total to 456. She passed Katie Lou Samuelson and tied Shea Ralph to move into a tie for 18th place. Svetlana Abrosimova has 473.
• Paige Bueckers has 953 career points, so need 47 to reach the 100 point milestone.
• Kim Mulkey Now has has her 700 career wins.
