DoggyDaddy's Musing

Out of the Twitter world comes word that Nurse will be starting in place of Chong. I did not think this was going to happen unless Chong lost the job due to poor performance. Now, if you look at the offensive numbers for Chong you'd think she should still be starting. But Geno was clearly not happy with the defense. Certainly not just Chong but the help defense all around. I'm guessing that Geno wants to show the entire team that he needs a certain effort on defense, both mentally and physically and he will make changes to get that from the players.

As long as Chong keeps a good attitude and works hard to improve her defense, she will continue to get starter minutes. UConn still needs her scoring. She has been terrific on that end of the court.

As always, in Geno we trust. Well, at least I trust him!!
