GO UCONN!!!!!

That is the question we all want to ask Azzi Fudd. For sure, it's getting closer. Here are a few clues.

Auriemma on Azzi Fudd’s status: “There’s more that she’s capable of doing and there’s more that she keeps pushing herself to get better. She practiced yesterday, not the whole practice, and she started to look like her old self. We’ll see what happens in practice today.”

It just feels like she will be playing!

Allie Ziebel:

37 points (12-21 FG, 1-6 3-PT, 12-12 FT), 6 rebs, 4 assists, 2 blocks

Germantown wins easily to advance in the state playoffs. Getting closer to a Ziebell/Arnold matchup.

KK Arnold:

I stayed up late to get the final of the UCLA/Stanford game when I saw that UCLA was making a great comeback in the fourth quarter to take a late lead. The Bruins hit their late foul shots and when they did miss the grabbed the rebound to get fouled again and put the game away. The final was 69-65. Amazing.

So many conference upsets!

So, now what Charlie. Another No. 1 goes down. Don't tell me, they don't move down. Right?

He moved Maryland into a No. 1 spot when Utah lost. What happens when Maryland loses !!!????

It's not often a ranked teams playes poorly enough to be in consideration for this prestigious award. But when two ranked teams playing each other play poorly enough to win an UGGY, well, it's a no brainer.

No. 13 Duke beat No. 18 North Carolina 44-40 in the ACC Tournament Quarter Finals. I didn't get to see the game and my eyes are grateful! Let's look at the numbers....

Duke, in winning this game, showed that you can stink on offense and still beat an opponent. The Blue Devils only scored 44 points, shot 32% from the field,  22% on threes and only 57.1% from the free throw line. And they added in  19 turnovers.

North Carolina was even worse. They only scored 40 points, shot 24% from the field, 26.3% on threes and 50% from the free throw line. They did only have 12 turnovers, but were outrebounded 50-35.

Two ranked teams. This bad. Sad.

Congrats on the UGGY!! You two deserved it!

UConn faces Georgetown at high noon tomorrow. The game is on FS1. Here are 5 reasons to look forward to the game. Keep in mind, nothing is a guarantee. In fact, the Huskies will probably lose. (reverse mojo)

1. Azzi Fudd doing a full court 3-person weave drill at
@UConnWBB practice and from a distance seems to be running well - (from Carl Adamac)

2. Starters for Georgetown played 39, 38, 36, 31 and 27 minutes today against Butler. One sub played 15.

3. Gtown shot 0-10 from three point range.

4. They had more fouls (22) than baskets (21).

5. The Hoyas missed 37 of their 58 shots.

GO Huskies..!!
