I finished the LSU pregame report, so tonight's dailies will be kinda brief.

I just want to talk about the buzz going around the message boards about Crystal Dangerfield's performance and what that means going forward in regards to the starting rotation.

I can't tell you how many posts I have read that says that it's clear now that Dangerfield should be starting over Chong.

And I can't tell you how that really frosts me. It's so unfair to both players.

First of all, it was ONE game. ONE. And while it was a great game for Dangerfield and a non-descript game for Chong, I don't see Geno making a fly by the seat of his pants decision to change the rotation so quickly.

Secondly, Geno is very loyal to his seniors. You remember Doty starting even though she was a shell of the freshman that captivated the fans? I just don't see him slapping Chong in the face after she earned the starting position in the pre-season.

Thirdly, it's very rare that without an injury or a situation where he doesn't have a good replacement, that Geno will start a freshman point guard. It's the toughest position to learn and execute. And while Dangerfield is really really good, I'm sure he would like to keep some of the pressure off of her by starting Chong.

Look, Geno will give Dangerfield plenty of minutes. And Chong will have her moments as well. It's really a terrific situation and a rotation with great success in winning their first two games against the 2nd and 12th ranked teams.

Why screw it up?

Quick quiz.. Who leads UConn in scoring, rebounds and blocked shots?  No, not Stewie, because apparently she graduated. 8-)

The answer is Napheesa Collier. Two games, 38 points on 65.2% shooting. Two games, 19 rebounds, 15 defensive. Two games, 4 blocked shots. (Should be 5..!!)

Collier also has 4 assists, 1 steal and made her only 3 pt shot. Her 7 made free throw are 1st on the team with Katie Lou and her 3 turnovers are less than KLS, Gabby, Kia and Natalie. It is early in the season, with just 2 games played, but Geno has kept Napheesa on the court for 72 minutes, tied with Kia for the most. Are we sure Stewie graduated and didn't just change numbers to 24..??  ;)
