So, it's been eight games into the season for the "Candace Parker Revenge Tour". You remember that, right? Where Parker was going to hammer teams with players that "took" her spot on the 2016 Olympic team.... Where she was so motivated to beat up these players, she was playing better than she had for her career....

Well, I'm here to tell you that the CPRT is on CPR. She is officially having an average season. Yes, she had a GREAT  first game against Breanna Stewart. Yes, she had a great game against EDD. And yes, she had a great game against Tina Charles. That's about it. She averaged 27 ppg in those three outings. In her other 5 games? She averaged 10.4 ppg.

In fact, at this point in the season, she is averaging less points, less rebounds, less blocks, lower shooting percentage, lower FT percentage than her career numbers. To her credit she is shooting her threes better than ever, and has slightly more assists and steals.

Bottom line. Parker is Parker. A talented but slightly selfish and self promoting "diva" .
