I'm pretty much in shock. Even though I pick UConn every game they play, I'm in shock that they made it to the championship game. Shocked, but so happy. Shocked, but so relieved. I'm just so happy that UConn was able to pull this win off and get that rematch with South Carolina. If Dawn didn't cancel that second matchup, it would have been the third.

I'll have more in a full Postgame report. But the fear that UConn would lose because of foul shots flew out the window. UConn actually won the game at the line, expanding the lead to 2 possessions as the clock ran down.

So much more to say but just like the game shot ran out, so is the blogging clock. It's getting late. I'll put out all the links I can find and any videos that are available.

Kismet....I said it last night, and I'll say it again. They beat Stanford in the National Semi-finals in Minneapolis in 1995. They then had to play the top SEC team in the Championship game.

Hmmmm........

Watch the Stanford post game press conference. I don't think there has been a more gracious and composed player on the losing team as Haley Jones. I am a huge fan.

Back to my hotel minutes ago, exhausted but happy. There's lot's to say, but I bet everyone else will say it, so I'll try to point out something that not everyone has noticed.

Two streaks but the dust in the last week.

We had lost 5 consecutive OT tournament games, but won our last one.

We had lost in the national semifinals 4 times in a row, and ended that streak.

We also now hold the current winning streak, maybe 13 games, I know Stanford held it at 24, but we ended. Not everyone realized we were in second.
