What a difference a day makes, 24 little hours. Yes, I'm over the reaction to the Covid-19 Vaccine!!
And I feel...............

Take a good look at the balls that the South Carolina players are using at their shoot around.
Look familiar?
Yes, it's the Nike ball that Dawn said they don't ever use.
Did she learn her lesson or......
Looks like they still struggled with the Nike ball as they lost to Tennessee. They were awful.

I found this on a UConn message board.
We've known for a while that Paige is one of the best 3-point shooters in the nation. In fact, she has been leading the nation for a while. She's at 55.84% on the season. Freshman Diamond Johnson of Rutgers is at 53.73%. Aleah Goodman of Oregon State and Katie Benzan are both in the 51-52% range.
Paige is averaging 36.51 minutes per game, good for 43rd in the nation and highly unusual for a freshman, especially a UConn freshman.
She also is scoring 21.1 ppg, which is 25th in the nation.
Her assists are at 5.9 per game, good for 12th in the nation. She has 100 assists. The freshman record is shared by Renee Montgomery and Pam Weber at 123. That will be toast, even in a shortened season.
Her A/TO ratio of 2.38:1 ranks 38th in the nation.
Here's one of her most valuable stats that is often overlooked: Her overall shooting percentage, an outstanding 57.61%, ranks her 15th in the nation but #1 among guards!

Last night's win over St. John's was a total victory. UConn dominated every aspect of the game. For example, Saylor Poffenbarger, who was in high school a month ago, outscored Leilani Correa by 3 points to 2 points. Correa torched the Huskies for 33 points in the previous match and leads the Red Storm in scoring. Other interesting stats include:
1. UConn won by 45 points, but had two starters, Evina and Nika, score 0 combined points.
2. The other three starters shot 24-32 or 75% from the field. They scored 58 combined points.
3. At the half, Olivia had 15 points. So did the whole St. John's team.
4. The Huskies had 26 assists on 33 baskets.
5. From 3 pt range, UConn shot 50% and the Red Tide only hit 15%.
6. In the 2nd period, UConn made 11 of 13 shots. That is 85%..!!
7. St. John's 3 points in the 4th period was not the best defensive effort by the Huskies. Georgetown only scored 2 points in the 2nd period of thier game.
Go Huskies..!!

No. 2 South Carolina 67 No. 21 Tennessee 75 - For the first time since March 2019, the Gamecocks have lost an SEC game. South Carolina, riding a 31 game win-streak heading into their game against Tennessee, fell to the 21st-ranked Lady Vols 75-67 in Knoxville. It was a strange game, however, as the loss came from seemingly out of nowhere. The Gamecocks went into halftime up by 12, and Destanni Henderson hit a 3-pointer in the third quarter to give the Gamecocks a 44-29 lead. After that, however, South Carolina seemed to collapse as Tennessee outscored them 46-23 the rest of the way. It's the Gamecocks' second loss in their last four games, and they are now 17-3 on the season with a 12-1 record in SEC play. Rennia Davis scored 24 points to lead the Lady Vols and Rae Burrell added 19. Boston had 17 points and 16 rebounds for South Carolina.

Kayla Jones had 16 points and Elissa Cunane provided 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Wolfpack, which shot 45.5% from the field despite making only three of 12 shots in the fourth quarter. Ivana Raca had 18 points for Wake Forest, Cunane scored the final five points of N.C. State’s 15-2 run to conclude the first half. That lifted the Wolfpack to a 39-26 lead. N.C. State began the second half on a 10-1 burst, with Wake Forest needing more than four minutes before posting its first field goal.

No. 11 Michigan 65 No. 14 Indiana 70 - Ali Patberg scored 21 points, including the only field goal by either team in the last 3 1/2 minutes, and No. 14 Indiana defeated No. 11 Michigan. Mackenzie Holmes had a key steal under the Michigan basket and a defensive rebound, plays that led to the closing free throws that allowed the Hoosiers to seal the game. And on Michigan's last possession, taking the ball out of bounds under the basket with 9.3 seconds left, one of the Hoosiers got her hand on the ball and deflected it deep into the back court so time ran out. The final score was Indiana's largest lead of the game while Michigan's big lead of six came late in the first quarter. There were 17 lead changes and 12 ties. Grace Berger converted all 10 of her free throws and scored 16 points for the Hoosiers. Aleksa Gulbe added 13 points. Patberg and Gulbe combined to make 6 of 9 from 3-point range as Indiana went 9 of 18 behind the arc. Hillsmon had another double double for Michigan with 23 points and 12 rebounds.
No. 15 Ohio State 100 Purdue 85 - No. 15 Ohio State easily defeated Purde Thursday afternoon at Value City Arena. Purdue had four players in double figures, led by a career-high 21 points from Fatou Diagne. Brooke Moore scored 18 points. Ohio State was led by 23 points from Dorka Juhasz. Both clubs flew out the gates in the first period, each scoring 23 points. The Boilermakers shot 58.8% from the field, including a perfect 5-for-5 from Diagne. Moore twice knocked down 3-pointers that gave Purdue a two-possession lead in the first. After a Kayana Traylor layup to start the second, Diagne picked up her 13th point in just 9:14 of playing time to put the Boilermakers ahead 27-23. Purdue then fell on the wrong side of an 18-0 run and trailed by 13 at the break. The Boilermakers turned up the intensity in the third quarter, scoring 27 points in the frame. Purdue spread the wealth with six different players finding the score sheet, topped by eight points from Layden. Ohio State matched the pace with 26 points and a quartet of triples. The Buckeyes used a quick 15-4 run at the start of the fourth to build up its lead to as many as 25 in the frame. Despite the gap, Purdue finished strong on an 11-1 run, including the final nine points of the game.
