Xavier Season to Date
Xavier started the season with a loss, 55-36 to San Jose State. They then won three in a row beating Miami (OH) 71-66, Mercyhurst 68-53, and Arkansas State 45-41.
That was basically the highlight of the season. They were 2-8 over their last 10 games, beating only Youngstown State 61-43 and Fordham 61-43.

Game Analysis
Xavier was maybe the worst team in Div I women's basketball last season going 1-27. UConn toyed with them in an 86-40 win. In a crazy sequence, UConn had a 32-0 run. Paige had 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Aaliyah Edwards had 16 points and 10 rebounds. Ice Brady had her best game with 11 points and 14 rebounds.
Although they have 5 wins this year to date, I'm not sure there is a Big East team that is bad enough to lose to them. So they could run out the season with all losses.
They have horrible statistics. Painful to look at. Close your eyes if you are squeamish.
They score only 56 PPG, shoot 41% from the field, 28% on threes, grab only 28 RPG and have a negative .2 Assist/Turnover ratio. There is more but you get the point.
They are very similar to another familiar UConn opponent in South Florida. The Musketeers only have two Americans in their 8 player rotation. They have players from Finland, Spain, Slovakia and England.
They look like sweet kids, so I kinda feel bad for what is going to happen to them.
Final Prediction
Paige or no Paige, this game is going to get ugly quickly. The only question for me is who will start of Paige misses the game. I'm guessing it will be a surprise and KK gets the start. Jana continues her upward trajectory.
