Congrats to my buddy Phil for being chosen season ticket holder of the game. It's not as prestigious as wining one of my UGGY's, but it's not bad. He's been lugging around that sign all season and it finally paid off!!! I bet he was stoked for winning the STHOTG!!!

If you ever want to read some of the great thoughts that Phil has, come on over to the best message board around.   UConn Territory

Here is a pictorial of one of the more Dynamic moves you will ever see. Jefferson has that ball on a string. Amazing.

So, does the UConn 25 points win over South Carolina take some of the starch out of the argument on how bad the AAC is? Yes, UConn is hammering away at these teams, but it's clear that they are doing this to everyone.

Tuesday night, the 2nd and 3rd best teams in the AAC had games and they both came out with wins.

No. 25 South Carolina, in their first game since cracking the AP and Coaches polls did what they are supposed to do. They beat up on the bottom of the league, slapping around SMU 72-51. Courtney Williams, as good a player in any league scored 21 points and snagged 9 rebounds. Their record is now 20-4 and 11-1 in the conference. With only the one game against UConn that is a probable loss, it's possible they go into the AAC tourney 25-5 and 16-2 in the conference. They would have a good shot at a decent seed.

Tulane beat Central Florida to run their record to 19-5 and 10-3 in the conference. With their only losses to USF and UConn, they have a chance to get an at large bid. But they will have to keep winning.

Ugly Game Of The Day

There were only a lucky 13 games Tuesday night. So, who was the unlucky one to win the UGGY???

Looks like we are keeping the UGGY in the AAC with the South Florida trashing of SMU.

The Pirates managed to get to 51 points. They certainly went kicking and screaming up to the podium to collect their trophy. Raven Short hit two late three's and another jumper to pull them up to semi-respectability. But, with a 13 game schedule in WCBB tonight, it just wasn't enough.

51 points, 29% from the field, 32% on 3's, 54% from the line and 15 rebounds. Not the ugliest game we've seen this year. But it will do.

 So, without further ado!!!
