If you want to get excited about the future of UConn women's basketball, read the articles I linked in the UConn section about Lexi Gordon and Andrea Espinoza-Hunter, two of the 2017 recruits and another Mikayla Coombs, who has a UConn offer.
Three terrific players, and two are definitely coming to Storrs. Gordon appears to be the pied piper of HS girls basketball. They all want to be friends with her. The future is so bright.

Breanna had her best game in her brief WNBA career with 25 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals and 4 blocks. Her defense is starting to be a difference maker for Seattle, but it wasn't enough for the Storm to get the win. Sue Bird had a terrific game as well with 17 points and 5 assists. You can see her trying to lead this young team, constantly telling her teammates where to go and what to do.
Stewie had her entire game going. She had one of her patented two hand blocks on one Mystic player. She had her hands in the passing lanes all night long. She made STRONG drives to the basket, absorbing the contact and finishing at the rim. She hit 3-5 threes as well. Great game to watch!
