Former UConn player Kaili McLaren was cut by Minnesota, only one week after signing a training camp contract.

 

As my friend Cat noted - McCarville set to return to Lynx. With this news Kaili's days were numbered.

Looks like it's back to Europe for Kaili.

 UConn led the nation in point differential this season by averaging 88.1 pts per game and only giving up 48.3 pts per game. However, the Husky starters were actually way better than that in scoring and defense. UConn scored the fewest points (741) in the 4th quarter when Stewie and company were resting on the bench. They also gave up the most points (527) in the 4th quarter. Here is UConn's scoring average by each quarter.

1st quarter =   915 points or 24.1 per game.
2nd quarter = 805 points or 21.2 per game.
3rd quarter =  885 points or 23.3 per game.
4th quarter =  741 points or 19.5 per game.

Points given up per quarter follow a similar pattern. When starters rested, opponents scored more. (Duh..)

1st quarter =   443 points or 11.7 per game.
2nd quarter = 413 points or 10.9 per game.
3rd quarter =  454 points or 11.9 per game.
4th quarter =  527 points or 13.9 per game. 

Over three quarters, UConn averages 68.7 points and gives up only 34.5 points. That point differential is 34.2 points..!! The Huskies doubled up opponents scoring, through 3 periods, all season..!!
