My Florida family is still here!! They go home Saturday night. I will miss them. Well, at least until my oldest granddaughter comes back for Christmas break and then we visit them the first week in January. It was a wonderful visit.

A ton of games in the top 25 Friday. Only one upset.
No. 24 Arizona State lost to Green Bay although I'm not sure how much of an upset that is. Former UConn player Courtney Ekmark had a tough game with 8 points on 2-10 from the field and 2-8 on threes.
No. 3 South Carolina beat Rutgers 78-68 behind A'ja Wilson's 33 points. She got to the line 17 times making 15 of them. Two comments - Can South Carolina win without a big game from Wilson? And can A'ja Wilson get any more star treatment? She gets to the line as much as Candace Parker did! This game was close throughout. Looks like C.Viv has a decent team this season.
UCLA had a nice bounce back game after losing to UConn. They beat a tough Kansas State team 64-55. Low scoring for the Bruins, but the win was important for UCLA.
Tennessee won again in the Cancun tournament. They used another fast start to beat Oklahoma State 79-69. In the two games in Cancun they were up big in the first quarters and then proceeded to be outscored the rest of the game. The game on Thursday against No. 20 Marquette went to OT before the Lady Vols pulled it out.

This is from my friend Mark Bruker. Nice job showing how important Gabby Williams is to the team. We knew that but the numbers reinforce it!
Without Gabby +1, 0.1 points/minute
With Gabby +17 (0.57 ppm).
When she went out early in the 2nd Quarter the Huskies only outscored UCLA by 3.
The rest of the half they were up 8 at that point.
In the 1st Quarter she outrebounded UCLA 8-7!

Here is the UConn/Michigan State Pre Game Report.
By David in Naples!!!!!
Who leads the Huskies in points scored? Despite being on a team with Lou, Napheesa, Gabby and Kia, the correct answer is Crystal With 65 points. Well, who has the most assists? Again, Crystal with 17. (Gabby is 2nd w/ 13.) Who has made the most threes? Not even close. Crystal has 13, which is equal to Kia, Lou and Pheesa combined.
Dangerfiield has been an early season star, logging the 2nd most minutes at 125. (Kia has 130) Given the injury to Katie Lou and slow start by some regulars, CD3 has been a major reason UConn has routed 4 straight ranked opponents.
Go Huskies..!!
