Lots of pregame interviews. This team seems calm, confident and ready to go.

Fast Forward to the 15 minute mark.

When Geno finishes Fast Forward to 32:15 for Napheesa and Katie Lou.

Geno is just the funniest man on earth!!!

"I am the coach at UCONN and I intend to be the coach at UCONN next year"

and this

"I don't even know what it means to have a chip on your shoulder these days. I know what it used to mean, it meant kids were pissed, they felt disrespected, and when they felt like that, you actually saw the results on the court. [Alludes to 2001 loss in St. Louis and how it kept his players motivated every single day until 2002 national championship. Showed up in practices every day and in how they played every game.] Today the chip on kids' shoulders lasts until their next text. So, we got a chip on our shoulder. They got a chip on their phone. That other stuff doesn't exist anymore. How are you going to have a chip on your shoulder when your best friends were all the kids you play against, and you got everybody on speed dial cause you played against these kids growing up? I liked it better when everybody hated each other? All the hate's gone. It's no fun."

Image result for morons everywhere

And of course, some quotes from UConn Nation that just make my blood curl!!!

"If UConn couldn't keep Buffalo off the O boards, I shudder to think how they'll keep Onyenwere, Drummer and Burke off them."

Yes, because what happened in the Buffalo game will certainly happen again.

"If guns can keep herself under control and not try to dribble into a mob and creating turnovers, albeit extremely athletic turnovers......"

Guns is Dangerfield if you didn't know. I just love how fans attach themselves to these cute nicknames...uhhgg. And by the way, Dangerfield has less than 2 turnovers per game on average. Another idiot thinking that the Buffalo game is the norm.

"That has been a trend of Uconn giving up offensive rebounds and allowing open shots. "

Uh....no. Not a trend. Yes it happens occasionally, but they only average 12 offensive rebounds allowed this year. Hardly a season long issue.

"Japreece Dean, UCLA's point guard, seems to be an expert at drawing fouls"

Seems to me you watched one game and think you know it all. She only averages 3.3 foul shots taken per game. Hardly an expert.

"An opponent that thrives on toughness and aggression against a group of players that have tended to play meekly and tight in big games. This game is a big-time concern."

I have no response to this. Only that whoever posted this should be ashamed of themselves and should burn their UConn fan Card.

By David in Naples!!!!!

Crystal Dangerfield is slowly climbing the UConn all-time list for assists and scoring. Wait, what?  Scoring? Yes, totally under the radar, Dangerfield is now #45 in scoring at Uconn with 1,003 points. The #44 player is Ashley Battle with 1,054 points. After that, Mel Thomas is #43 with 1,098 pts. With, at most, 4 games left in the season, getting much farther up the list will be difficult. But, Crystal is a junior and has another whole season left to work her way up. Here are Crystal's scoring totals by season:

1. Freshman = 188 pts.
2. Sophomore = 333 pts.
3. Junior = 482 pts. and counting...

In addition to the all-time scoring list, Crystal is also well on her way to cracking the top 15 is all-time assists at UConn. Currently, Dangerfield is #16 with 465 assists. She is just 8 away from Svetlana and 14 from Ketia Swanier at 479. Here is the #12 thru #16 list:

12. Tiff Hayes = 483 assists
13. Gabby Williams = 481 assists
14. Ketia Swanier = 479 assists
15. Svetlana = 473 assists
16. Crystal = 465 assists

Depending on how deep UConn goes in the Tournament, Gabby and Tiff Hayes could be reached. Of course, #1 on that list is a player many called MoJeff with 659 assists.

Go Huskies..!!
