Boy, are we old!!!! 83% of us are 50-79. At 63 years old, as my wife said, I am writing for my peers!!! And we have a couple of posters over 90??? Amazing. God Bless!!
People have said that UConn is our "pro" team since we don't have one and the fact that 90% of my readers did not attend UConn is a pretty clear indication that is true.
Thanks again to everyone that participated.

Geno was released from the hospital. I have several links. Word is the nurses complained to the administration as Geno started coaching them on how to take care of the other patients so they asked him to leave.

Morgan Tuck graduated with great career statistics and 4 National Championships. She played a critical role, but often in the shadow of Stewie and MoJeff. An equal, third leg on the UConn stool, but last in terms of publicity and praise. Well known to the Husky faithful, but an after thought to the national audience. The new Morgan Tuck may be Napheesa Collier. Quiet to point of appearing shy, Collier gets in done under the basket, on defense and without being noticed. Consider the following stats from last season.
1. Despite being the shortest forward on the roster, Napheesa finished 2nd to Stewie with 47 blocked shots. Her total is more than Gabby, Butler, KLS and Nurse combined.
2. Her 50 steals tied Kia Nurse and were almost twice Morgan's total. Only Gabby and Moriah had a better steal per minute average.
3. Collier led the team in offensive rebounds with 83, ahead of Stewie (80) and Gabby (75).
4. Despite playing only 653 minutes, Napheesa grabbed 197 total rebounds or one every 3.3 minutes. That was the same average as Stewie.
5. Collier took more foul shots than MoJeff and Katie Lou, making 44-48 or an amazing 91.7%.
6. From inside the 3 point arc, Napheesa shot 56% on 108-186 shooting. Morgan shot 45% her first year.
7. Stewie had 35 assists her freshman year. Collier had 34 despite playing 200 fewer minutes.
UConn for the next few years will feature Kia Nurse, Gabby Williams, Katie Lou Samuelson and the newest rookie, Crystal Dangerfield. Somewhere under the basket, Napheesa Collier will be blocking shots, grabbing rebounds and scoring in the paint. She will be a big reason UConn keeps on winning. Just like Morgan Tuck.
Go Napheesa..!!
