Here is the link to my Syracuse/Washington Pre Game Report.
My apologies if some of the links are duplicate from the day before and even duplicates in the same day. My search engine gives me a 24 hour period and I can't read every article to see if some are the same. And some sites make a simple edit and put it back out there and it looks new to me.

Well, this is my last Dailies before the Final Four starts. Then one more pre game report (Hopefully includes UConn) and then I'm sure for a few days, there will be more things to say and more articles to link.
What a season of posting!!!
I started out this season on September 5th posting the preseason schedule. I added my take on the incoming players, a piece about the two "walk-ons". That was it for September. Six blog entries.
I took October off. Trip to Hawaii, a busy month with not much going on in WCBB. Then the exhibition season started and I wrote several blogs about the preseason games, an open practice before the season officially started on November 13th. Well, at least for me it did with an Ohio State pregame report. I wrote at least one blog entry a day until Christmas when I took a holiday break.
That was 41 consecutive days of posting and 60 blog entries!!! Not a bad streak. But nothing compared to the rest of the season.
Since December 27th, I have posted a Dailies every day. Including this one, that is 97 consecutive days, obliterating UConn's 90 game streak. It hasn't been easy.
In addition to the 97 Dailies, I wrote 33 other blog entries that included many pregame reports, some postgame reports and a couple of odds and ends.
Overall for the season I wrote entries on 138 days and 190 total blog entries.
My readership has exploded! Last year I averaged around 400 views per day for a total of 60,000+ views. I was thrilled. I stopped writing April 11th and I was shocked to see that folks were looking for my blog entries all spring and summer, until I started again this season. 5,700 views. I felt guilty for not writing!
This year has been amazing. Thanks to all of you, my numbers have grown like crazy. I'm up to 88,000 posts this season. Almost 650 each day.
I wish I got paid per view, but I do this for nothing. Well, not really. Just the many Facebook "likes", thank you emails and personal comments. Those are what drive me to do this.
So, just a few more days and I get my regular life back. Well, for at least a few months. I'll be writing occasionally on WNBA UConn Alumni, and the USA teams this summer.
Thanks for reading!!!

Moriah Jefferson led the Huskies with 66 turnovers this season, in 35 games. Oregon State had two players, Weisner and Wiese, with 88 and 86 turnovers respectively. Then they had Hanson, Hunter and Hamblin with 66, 65 and 63 turnovers. Even McWilliams turned the ball over 52 times. If you add it all up, OSU had 549 team turnovers. UConn had 425 total turnovers, with a disproportional number coming late in the game. Advantage UConn.
Oregon State's steal leader, Hanson, had 47 steals. That would have tied for 5th on the Huskies. As a team, OSU had 186 steals while their opponents took the ball from the Beavers 263 times. UConn had 434 steals or 2.3 times more than Oregon State. MoJeff, Stewie, Gabby and Kia all had more steals than the best OSU player. Their big three, Weisner, Wiese and Hamblin had 83 combined steals. MoJeff had 93. Advantage UConn.
Oregon State made 901 baskets on 44% shooting accuracy. The Huskies made 1,237 baskets on 53% accuracy. For their 36 games, OSU averaged 67.3 points per game. UConn, in their 36 games, averaged 88.4 points per game. That's a difference of over 20 points each game. The assist difference is significant as well, 568 for OSU vs 780 for UConn. Oregon has two players with 100 or more assists, the Huskies have four and another at 80. Advantage UConn.
OSU's leading scorer, Weisner, made 48.8% of her 441 shots. Stewie made 58.3% of her 446 shots. The next 3 leading scorer for the Beavers, Wiese, Hamblin and Hanson, shot 43%, 55% and 33%. MoJeff, Tuck and KLS shot 55%, 51% and 50%. Advantage UConn.
Everything comes down to execution. But, UConn has a decent chance to beat the Beavers.
