UConn is taking on Southern Methodist University Wednesday night, finally getting to play at home for a couple of days. SMU is not a very good team, let me tell you. They are 7-11 and 1-4 in the conference only beating Wichita. Interestingly enough, they played Alabama and only lost by one. Yes, the same Alabama who beat Tennessee.

SMU is led by Alica Froling, their 6'3" senior forward. She only averages 12.8 ppg but averages a double-double with 10.5 rpg. As a team, the Mustangs only average 55 ppg and are a horrible shooting team. Their field goal percentage is only 35.6% and they shoot only 19.2% on threes. Awful. They also have only 206 assists and 337 turnovers.

Based on everything I can see, this should be one of those ugly AAC games where UConn does some stat padding.

UConn should win this game by 50. Yes, 50.

This is turning into a Tennessee Memorial Blog, but right now, it's hard to turn away from the disaster that is the Lady Vols. Here are the post game interviews. It's hard to take but some of you like this kinds of stuff....I know you do!!!

I'd also like to share some of a post by a Tennessee fans, a LONG TIME Tennessee fan names AuraBass. This guy is probably one of the biggest haters of UConn basketball and to see him miserable makes me happy. Yes, small and petty. Sorry.

THE TEAM ONLY HAS EACH OTHER - THEY HAVE NO COACH TO LEAN ON
PAT WOULD HAVE BEEN APOPLECTIC - the performance was abysmal including effort. But much of it was due to incompetence in the coaching staff. Tough times? Pat personally went through a tough time at the end but her teams never had a "tough time" like this.

HER TEAM hasn’t been listening to all the negativity.
“I have confidence in them and confidence in my staff,” Warlick said. “All the noise that we’re hearing, those kids have blocked everything out, and they’re playing with a lot of heart. That’s all I can ask."

Lady Vols had a combined 26 losses over 30 plus years to these teams. Now we have 16 losses more with Holly Folly.

YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS STUFF UP. After reading these comments and recalling why I quit listening early in the Folly's HC career, I've come to the conclusion the stress has had a detrimental effect on her mind. I think she is actually delusional and needs some professional help.
