UConn is BACK! Winning their 21st Big East title and their 10 straight Big East tournament win, the Huskies gave a beatdown to Villanova, even though the final score doesn't reflect that.

UConn had a lead as big as 25 points in the second half before the players, much to Geno's chagrin, took their foot off the gas and let Nova close the gap to 11 points at the final buzzer.

Edwards won MOP for the tournament and Dorka and Lou were on the all-tournament team. I would have liked to see Nika in there as well. What a great team effort.

The only downer was Aubrey Griffin leaving the game early in the second half and getting into her sweats. But she was on the court for the celebration smiling and moving around ok. No ice on any body part. Geno said it was back spasms. Best to stop playing in that game. Ten days until the next game. She will be fine.
