Baylor won their 18th consecutive game Tuesday, beating up on TCU 89-67. They were led by one of my favorite players in the country, Nina Davis, who scored 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. I know it's been said before, but she is only 5'11" and can dominate the boards. Amazing.

The Bears are looking more and more like a final four team. Along with Davis, they have a spectacular point guard in Niya Johnson, who leads the country in assists and a bunch of talented players to back up this deadly duo.

There is a good chance they get to the NCAA tourney with one loss and that would get them  a #1 seed. I would love to see them in the same bracket as Tennessee. The old .2 teeshirts would be out in full force.

Ugly Game Of The Day

Well, there were only 11 games Tuesday, so it was slim pickin's for the UGOTD award. But it was easy to see once you took a look at the box score.

Valparaiso lost to Illinois-Chicago 60-42 in a Horizon league matchup. The Crusaders shot 30% from the field, 19% on threes and had 19 TO's.

Thanks for coming through, Val! Enjoy the award. It's better than nothing....maybe.
