Jim Fuller had this interesting tidbit in his blog -

"Since I spent and am spending a decent amount of my day in airports in three different states today, I had time to do a little checking on recent UConn players with eight offensive rebounds in a game since Napheesa Collier accomplished that feat last night.

Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis is the last Husky to do that, hauling down eight offensive boards in a 2014 NCAA tournament game against BYU and she also accomplished the feat in a regular-season game against Baylor during the 2012-13 season. Breanna Stewart's career high was eight against during her freshman season. Maya Moore hauled down nine offensive rebounds in a 2008 game against Syracuse."

Wow.....eight offensive rebounds? Incredible!

There are 10 players on UConn's roster eligible to play this season. Against Nebraska, all 10 played and the subs logged 83 of the game's 200 minutes. (5 players times 40 minutes = 200 available minutes) They contributed far more than just giving the starters a rest.

The five players who began on the bench scored 14 points and grabbed 17 rebounds. More importantly, they mixed well with the regulars and dished out 12 assists. Saniya subbed for Crystal and played 28 minutes in her first game back after her concussion. She had 8 points on 50% shooting, grabbed 5 rebounds, had 4 assists and stole 3 steals. Quite a night..!!  Natalie was 2nd with 23 minutes, 4 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Molly also had a fine performance. She scored only 2 points, but had 3 nice assists and 4 rebounds. Quality play all around.

Normally, opponents take advantage of multiple substitutes by scoring late in the game. Nebraska only managed 8 points in the 3rd period and then just 11 in the 4th. The Huskies took their foot of the gas but still scored 36 points in the last two periods. A good effort with lots of help from the whole roster..!!

Go Huskies..!!
