Congrats to the best coach in sports. Yes, I said it. All of sports. What Geno has done so far this season has been amazing.
I hope he and his players can finish off what has been a spectacular and surprising season so far.

And congrats to Napheesa in making the final four as a Wade finalist. From the moment I saw her play for Team USA before coming to UConn I knew she would be a great player. But she is far ahead of where I thought she would be at this time. More to come for this young woman.

Every UConn fan agrees that Stewie was one of the best players to wear the Huskies' uniform. Her senior year, Stewie scored 716 points on 274 made baskets. That was after playing 38 games. Right now, 34 games into the season, Katie Lou has 709 points and Napheesa has 284 made baskets. Are the Super Sophs better than one of the greatest players ever? Those same UConn fans agree MoJeff was a spectacular point guard. She had 191 and 204 assists in her junior and senior seasons. This year, Gabby has 179 assists, with hopefully four more games to play. Moriah was also a steal expert, with 95 her final season. This year, Gabby is already at 93 steals and closing fast.
As a team, this year's Huskies have 811 assists in 34 games. Five players have over 100 assists. As a team, they need 10 assists to move into 4th place all time with the 2016 team at 821 assists. If they keep playing, the top three team totals for assists are in sight. They are:
1. 2014 Huskies with 850 assists in 40 games.
2. The 2002 team with 846 assists in 39 games.
3. With 828 assists, the 2015 team is next in 39 games.
The unselfish and dangerous team offense of this season's Huskies is on full display. Scoring can come from anyone, but the assists will come from everyone..!
