Boy, did the Tennessee fans come out of the woodwork after that sloppy win over an overrated and overranked Texas team.
All over the message boards, Lady Vol fans are nuts over their team beating the Long Horns. Now, granted, they have a right to be happy about their 10-0 record and reentry into the top ten in the AP poll.
But perspective was never the strong suit of the Tennessee fans. Prior to the have beaten according to Massey teams rated 32, 57, 94, 113, 127, 136, 152, 226 & 437. Yes, 437!!! And except for the Cancun tournament every game was at the safe confines of Thompson Boiling Arena.
Just for fun, here is one great comment from a Tennessee fans -
"Westbrook is better than Walker and so is Davis. All 4 of the Tennessee's Freshman are outstanding and Hayes is more exciting and impressive than Dangerfield."
I will agree with one Tennessee fan who said they will play Stanford, South Carolina and Notre Dame. We will know more about them after those games.

A great tournament for 2018 incoming freshman Christyn Williams. In the Conway tournament, she lead her team to the finals where they lost in a close game.
Williams had 29, 33 and 31 points. Here are a few clips of her highlights in this HS tournament.

You know how I love Natalie!!!
Natalie Butler: A Story of Coming Home
FOURTH ESTATE: What drew you to Mason?
Natalie Butler: The global affairs masters program. I really wanted to focus on doing something international with my graduate degree, so the fact that that was offered here and not at Connecticut was a huge, I guess, key factor for me coming to Mason.
FOURTH ESTATE: What is your goal for after you graduate?
NB: I would like to play at the next level. If not, then the next step would be doing an internship with something like international consulting or something along those lines, so we’ll see. But, the first goal would definitely if I ever had the opportunity to play overseas or professionally here that would be amazing,

Imagine the worst 5 minutes of women's college basketball you have ever seen. Now imagine 40 minutes of that mistake-filled, fire drill sloppiness. That was the Texas vs Tennessee game played Sunday. It wasn't just sloppy, it was weird. Texas scored 27 points in the 1st HALF and then scored 31 in the final period. Consider these not-so-fun numbers:
1. There were 88 combined missed shots despite 13 high school All-Americans playing.
2. Texas had 29 personal fouls and three players fouled out with 5 fouls.
3. Tennesse made only 2 of 13 three-point tries. That's 15%. Texas only made 16%.
4. Texas had 47 rebounds and were still outrebounded by 47-51.
5. There were 34 turnovers and 7 players had more TO's than assists.
6. Tennesse took 37 free throws, but had only 10 assists.
7. Texas had 9 assists and 16 turnovers.
8. Every player on both teams scored at least 2 points.
9. Nared for Tennesse played all 40 minutes, took 20 shots and 14 free throws. She had 1 assist.
10. Tennesse is 10-0 and living the dream.
Clearly, Texas had a tough game shooting. But, so did Tennesse. Still, the bright orange beat the burnt orange and remain undefeated. What's ahead for the Lady Vols? Well, Stanford away, South Carolina and Notre Dame away, Mississippi State home and then South Carolina again at home. Let's see if they remain undefeated through the tough part of their schedule.
Go UConn..!!
