Then straight to bowling and had a 198, 202, 190. Not too bad! But it all hurt my ability to put together a complete blog.
So, some links, some David's numbers and some scores. More to come Friday night!!!

This season, UConn faced the tougher part of their schedule right out of the gate. Games against Stanford, Notre Dame, UCLA, Maryland and California tested the Huskies early. The good news is UConn went 8-0 and now moves into the AAC part of the schedule with games against Memphis, East Carolina, Houston, Tulsa and Tulane. While any opponent can have a great game and defeat the Huskies, with the exception of the Texas game, January is going to be less stressful. It will give Geno a chance to fix any issues and work out the kinks.
Meanwhile, the other top teams will feed on themselves. For example, tonight #5 Miss. State (9-0) plays #9 Oregon (8-1). Somebody has to lose.
* Sunday, #8 Texas (7-1) plays #12 Florida State (10-0).
* After Christmas, it gets really fun for the teams right behind UConn in the rankings. #3 Louisville plays powerhouse #14 Duke, then hosts #2 Notre Dame.
* Another big game, between teams we dislike, will be #7 Tennessee (10-0) vs #4 South Carolina (9-1) on January 11.
* Then, Tennesse has to play Notre Dame a week later and follows that against Miss. State.
* #6 Baylor (8-1) finally gets some tough games with two against #8 Texas and one versus #10 West Virginia (9-0)
So while UConn goes through the AAC, the other top-rated teams will beat up each other. Hopefully, come tournament time, the Huskies will be working like a fine-tuned machine and everyone else will be tired and bruised.
Go Huskies..!!
