What a great game by UConn Monday night, beating up on No. 7 Ohio State 100-56. I will have my post game report out later. A great start to the 2015-16 season for the defending champ.

Bad timing for the one voter in the AP poll that voted South Carolina number one. I think he will be changing his vote next week.

*******************************************************************************

There has been a lot of red links in my top twenty area with so many upsets. There were two more Monday night.

No. 6 Florida State lost to in state rival Florida 82-72. It was a strange loss for FSU, blowing a 15 point lead. They also lost guard Leticia Romero to a left ankle injury with a 1:11 remaining. It's being called it a high-ankle sprain. These don't heal quickly. Their coach Sue Semrau said "We're learning how to play with a target on our back. We didn't do a very good job today. I think our leadership will step up. We're not where we need to be yet."

Just a reminder. AAC team Temple defeated Florida who just beat No. 6 Florida. Just sayin'....

 *****************************************************************************

North Texas beat No. 17 Oklahoma 61-57 in Norman. It was a horrible home loss for the Sooners. They shot only 30% from the field and 3-15 on threes. This is not a good loss for for Coach Coale. It's never good for a top 25 team to lose to a directional school.

 *****************************************************************************

Baylor hammered, and I do mean hammered Southern Miss 97-44 behind six players in double figures in the preseason WNIT tournament. Now THAT is how you handle a directional institution.

 So, without further ado!!!
