In case you missed it, here is my UConn/Ohio State Post Game Report.

*******************************************************************************

Three UConn players are on the 30 player Wooden Watch list. Stewart, Tuck and Jefferson. Congrats to all three. I have a feeling that Nurse might find herself on that list before the season is over.

*******************************************************************************

One more top 25 upset with Indiana beating Chattanooga 54-43. The Lady Mocs went into the fourth quarter up two points, 37-35. At that point the 24th ranked (not for long) fell apart. They didn't score until half way through the quarter with a free throw at the 4:49 mark and their first field goal was at the 4:03 mark allowing Indiana to stretch their lead to seven. Chattanooga his a big three to cut the lead to four, 47-43 with 3:38 left in the game. They didn't score again and the Hoosiers closed the game with a 7-0 run to put the Lady Mocs away.

Chattanooga plays at Tennessee next and then three games later welcomes the Huskies to Chattanooga. We might not be seeing them in the top twenty five again this season.

RECORDS ARE MADE TO BE BROKEN!!!

Some interesting numbers from my friends David and Meyers. Thanks guys!!!

 - Stewie is currently 11th in all time UConn scoring with 1,984 points. She is 6 pts behind Renee Montgomery for 10th place and 10 pts behind Bria Hartley for 9th place.

- She is at 292 in blocks (5th) and has at least 100 the last 2 years. 100 more puts her at 392 in 2nd ahead of Stokes and Wolters, and only 4 behind Lobo at 396. Somehow I think she might get 105 this year.

- She has 865 in rebounds (10th) and has at least 300 the last 2 years. 300 more puts her at 1165 and in 4th ahead of Dolson. Would be the 6th player with 1000 rebounds. (Charles, Moore, Lobo, Dolson, Elliott)

- Jefferson is at 459 for assists (14th) and has averaged in the 190's the last 2 years. 190 more puts her at 649 DT's record is 648. I feel good about her chances to break the record.

- She is at 260 for steals (8th) and has at least 100 the last 2 years. 100 more puts her at 360 and puts in her in 2nd ahead of Rizotti. (nobody is catching Sales at 447)

I'm thinking I will make this part of my post game reports after every UConn game.

We are so blessed to root for a team with two such dominating players at the same time.
