My wonderful and talented cousin Ted Fink has a songwriter competition for one of his songs.
He sent out the instrumental and we were supposed to send in lyrics. The song is called Riffin’.
Riffin’ is when you just make up music without lyrics for example on a guitar.
I made it to the final four!!! Now it’s time for the public to vote.

There are four entries and mine is No. 3 and it’s called Riffin’. I should win just for having the right name!!!
So here is the link. Vote early, often, and for No. 3.....me!!!
And check out his books. Ted is a wonderful storyteller and author!

It was a late night at the Casino, but it was worth it. I got to see a bunch of fellow UConn fans that I haven't seen in a while (Hi Debbie, Stu, Shelly, Ron, and Brad!) and I got to see UConn win another AAC championship.
I also did a great job predicting the final margin. "I expect a closer game than the 35+ point wins UConn had in the first two games. UConn by 20+". Where is my back patting emoticon??
The Huskies put their imprint on the game from the beginning. They knew it would be a defensive struggle so they decided to be the better defensive team and they were. UCF ran the clock down once they got it past mid-court, but getting there was a struggle. They really defended the hell out of the Knights. UConn struggled to get good looks all night if they weren't able to get it inside to Collier. She was just amazing again and was clearly the MOP of the tournament.
It was awesome that Central Florida brought up their band and cheerleaders. The band was outstanding. And the UCF bench was a show in itself. Down 20 for most of the game, they went crazy with every basket that the Knights made. Good for them!
Now we wait for the NCAA selection show. It should be interesting to see who the No. 2 seed in UConn's bracket it. I'd love a redemption tour and have a rematch with Louisville in the regional final and then take on Baylor in the final four!

By David in Naples!!!!!
1. Napheesa recorded career double-double #20 w/ 25 pts & 14 rebounds.
2. Christyn had 13 pts, 4 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocked shots.
3. Pheesa was also 7-7 from the free throw line.
4. UConn’s defense held the Knights to 15 first half points & 34% shooting for the game.
5. KayKay Wright, UCF’s leading scorer had 4 pts on 2-9 shooting. Good job Crystal.
Now more silly numbers.
1. UCF’s coach played 12 players. Three were scoreless, two more had 1 pt each and 1 other had 2 pts. That’s 4 points from 6 players.
2. UCF had 17 fouls that were called and only 18 baskets.
3. UConn is 120-0 all time in the AAC.
Go Huskies..!!
