they surprised me with an early (by ten days) birthday cake.

I think they really only wanted the cake!!!

Straight from the Dog

I love big games by players and Monday, we have a really big one by a very good player.

Nia Clouden from Michigan State scored 50 points, yep 50, in the Spartans overtime loss to Florida Gulf Coast 85-84. Clouden was 17-28 from the field and hit one three pointer. She got to the line 17 times and hit 15 of them.

I have to say that it must have given some voters in the AP poll some pleasure to vote UConn so low. I say that because losing to the No. 6 team in the country should not drop a team 4 spots. The Huskies were tied with Tennessee and they lost to the No. 3 team in Stanford and didn't move. Yep, stayed at No. 7. I call INJUSTICE....lol. Ok...maybe over the top a little.

Well, Tennessee sure show everyone how good they are with a 112-58 win over powerful Eastern Tennessee State. They were able to play all 12 players double digit minutes. Talk about depth...lol. Ok...enough sarcasm. As least Tennessee was able to score in the last few seconds for the final margin.
