I'm sure we all feel the same. I didn't even want to post a blog without knowing Paige Beuckers' status. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for good news. I guess it doesn't help if I keep going to links where I think I might see what the results are of her MRI.

The folks on the UConn message board are going more crazy than even I am. Some are demanding to know the results. Kinda funny to read. The moderators got a little annoyed as did many of the other fans.

Scarey huh. You might not know this, I have a bee phobia. I mean a big time one. Bees, wasp, and definately Yellow Jackets.

Years ago my wife and I were trimming a hedge at our house. A few yellow jackets flew out and I spun around to avoid them while letting out a little yelp. The blades almost gave my wife a haircut. Thankfully no one was hurt.

So it's a tough game coming up on Thursday when UConn takes on Georgia Tech. I have been doing some video watching (what else do I have to do) and box score perusing. I'll share my thoughts soon.

But you can get an idea about the Yellow Jackets by watching some of what I watched. Here are the videos.

No. 00, Loyal McQueen (sounds like a race car driver) for Georgia Tech put her name in the tranfer portal after three games. She was a starter.

Interesting results in the latest Top 25 poll.

UConn dropped one position and is 8 points behind North Carolina State in the No. 3 spot. Makes sense as NC State beat at the time No. 6 Indiana.

The loss to NC State sent the Hoosiers a tumbling to the No. 10 spot right behind Tennessee. And congrats to the Lady Vols in their entrance into the Top 10 for the first time in three years.

Tennessee takes on Georgia State in their next game so if someone loses ahead of them they can move even further up. No. 4 Stanford at home in the game after that. They win that and even I'll have to say nice things about them.

Louisville moved up to the No. 7, a jump of three. That was on the heels of the win against No. 12 Michigan.

Michigan only dropped one spot after losing to the Cardinals.

BYU made the second biggest jump in the rankings going from No. 21 to No. 16. They beat two ranked teams in two games, Florida State and West Virginia. Both are now out of the rankings.

The biggest jump was Duke. They went from unranked to No. 19, a jump of 7 spots. I watched their win against at the time No. 9 Iowa. Kara Lawson is doing a great job. No surprise to me. I expect her to eventually compete for National Championships. I think she is smarter than 99% of the coaches out there. She has her players motivated. Considering how many players are new to the program and how new she is to all the players, Kara has them rocking and rolling! I'm a big fan, even if she did play at Tennessee.

Notre Dame jumped 2 spots after losing to UConn. Talk about respect for the Huskies.

Yes, another wonderful Tennessee fans posting something really sick.

In discussing Bueckers' injury, this jerk had this to say:

"This may also allow others time to shine that deserve a little spot light. One of the biggest travesties was Caitlin Clarke not getting more shine last year ."

Yes, let's think about taking advantage of a player being out so others can get more attention.
