Gotta agree with Geno. They made so many unforced errors, a certain sign of fatigue.

The Huskies take on Creighton in Storrs on Wednesday in their next outing. The Blue Jays come in on a hot streak winning their last six games and going 9-1 over their last ten games.

The Huskies absoultely destroyed Creighton on the Blue Jays home court 72-47 when they couldn't hit a shot. I don't expect that again in this matchup, especially how the Huskies have been playing of late.

Straight from the Dog

So, what happens this week to UConn in the AP poll after losing to Marquette and a lack luster win against Georgetown?

You would think that a few teams move ahead of them. Iowa, Stanford and Utah maybe? That would make UConn No. 7. But what happens to LSU, who lost by 24 to South Carolina? Will they stay ahead of UConn when the Huskies only lost to the Gamecocks by 4?

It should be interesting, but here is my best guess.

1. South Carolina

2. Indiana

3. Stanford

4. Iowa

5. Utah

6. UConn

7. LSU

It's a tough one to figure out.

I'll just leave you with some wise words from Phil about LSU.

Pretend for a second you didn't know who I was talking about. I tell you I want to know we you would rank a team but I'm not going to give you complete information. I will tell you that prior to today they have not faced an opponent that is currently ranked in the top 25.

Today, they faced a ranked team and lost by 24.

I believe there are 44 teams will have a win over one of the current top 25 teams and this isn't one of of those 44 teams with one or more wins against the top 25.

Where should they be ranked?

As I figured, Tennessee handled Vanderbilt, beating the Commedores 86-59. But not before Vandy put a scare into the the Lady Vols by drawing even at the half 38-38. Shea just doesn't have the horses and like UConn, Vanderbilt had some bad injuries early in the season. Shea has the team playing as well as they can with the limited resources in her rotation.
