Geno is pissed off about the officiating. And can you blame him? And it's not just this game. Teams are playing extremely physical and from my unbiased (don't laugh) eye, the refs are letting it happen over and over again. It's more the non-calls where teams bang around Lou and other players with impunity. It is not good for a finese team like UConn. Will that change? Well, at least Geno is bringing his displeasue out in the media and maybe that makes a difference.

What a crazy Sunday!! Three upsets and some close calls for Top 25 teams.
No. 11 North Carolina lost to Louisville 62-55 behind 17 points by Van Lith and 17 points by Carr who was 5-9 on threes. It was just a terrible shooting game from both teams. The Tarheels shot 33%, were 1-13 on threes and turned the ball over 13 times. The Cardinals shot 34% from the field, 28% on threes and had 22 turnovers. And won.
No. 16 Duke won their 20th game of the season beating No. 9 Notre Dame 57-52 in another low scoring affair. Celeste Taylor led the Blue Devils with 14 points, the only Duke player in double digit scoring. Westbeld had 15 and Citron had 14 to lead the Irish. Both teams shot 40% from the field and around 25% on threes for the game, making the North Carolina//Louisville game look like a shoot out.
The big upset was No. 3 Stanford getting beat by unranked Washington 72-67. I always like when a Husky wins!! Stanford, in my opinion, is not as good as last year and not nearly as good as UConn. Stanford jumped out easly but Washington used a 30-17 second quarter to take the halftime lead. Stanford took a one point lead after three quarters but the Huskies pulled away in the fourth quarter for the 5 point win.
