Ever hear of the Savanah Bananas?? They are a comedy baseball team that travels the country. A great time. They even had a dancing umpire. For all the Red Sox fans, they brought out 76 year old former Boston great Bill Lee to pitch a scoreless inning.
We brought our 14 year old granddaughter Mya to the game.
And my wife posed with the Banana staff.

Everyone recovered from that game? I watched the fourth quarter a few times. Each time it was just more amazing than the last.
I guess the question is, will the fourth quarter scoring 23 points be a predictor of the Huskies finally breaking out of this extended offensive slump they have been in.
Watching other top teams blow out their opponents, it makes me pine for days of old.
Look, we all know how good this starting five can be, and with the addition of Caroline to the rotation, there is no reason for the Huskies not to recapture some of their early season mojo.
Neenah junior Allie Ziebel has been selected as the Hometown Ticketing Athlete of the Week for the week of February 6-12 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net.
Ziebellput together a pair of 30 point performances this past week in FVA Conference play, helping ensure the two wins. First in a 48-46 win over Kimberly, the UCONN commit had 30 points and six rebounds. Neenah, the second ranked team in the Division 1 WSN Coaches Poll then squared off with Hortonville, ranked third. Ziebell carried the Rockets, scoring 36 points and adding 13 rebounds in the 67-47 win. Over the two games, Ziebell went a perfect 29 of 29 from the free throw line.
Big upset in the Pac 12 as No. 4 Utah lost to No. 18 Arizona. This should knock the Utes down a few in the AP Poll. Not sure that that will do to them in the NET ratings. And a big win for Arizona and their rankings and ratings. The Wildcats were led by a great performance for Shaina Pellington. She had 35 points and 8 rebounds with 5 steals.
UConn's recent struggles (including underwhelming wins) withstanding, the Huskies remain # 2 in the important NET ranking, which the Selection Committee uses for seeding in the NCAA tournament.
Creighton improved from 26 to 24.
It makes sense that the Nova game Saturday is important to win to stay # 2; and a #1 seed in the Tournament Regional sites. A loss wouldn't be devistating because Villanova is No. 10 in the NET rankings.
• UConn has scored 25 or more points in 29 quarters (27% of their 108 quarters)
• They've had three or four 25-point quarters in two games, recording three against Seton Hall at home and the one game with all four 25 or more point quarters also against Seton Hall on the road.
• They been held to single digits in a quarter five times. Four of those time were in the second quarter, once the third quarter against Creighton.
• Their highest single scoring quarter was 33 points in the first quarter against Tennessee. Ironically, the lowest scoring quarter was the very next quarter scoring seven against Tennessee in the second quarter.
• UConn has been outscored in 30 of the 108 quarters. The biggest quarter deficit is 12 points which happened three times, each of which was the second quarter of a game.
• The lowest number of UConn points at the beginning of the fourth quarter was 38 in their loss against Marquette. They exceeded that by one point with 39 points at the beginning of the fourth quarter against Creighton the most recent game.
• The first quarter is the highest scoring were averaging 20.7 points per game. Closely behind his third quarter at 20.4 points per game. The fourth quarter is in third place at 19.1, in the second quarter is the worst on average, with 17.6 points per quarter.
