Leaving for my long weekend Friday at 9:00. The ship leaves at 3:00 and returns Monday morning. I expect to gain a few pounds. Some great food. Shows, Casino, bumper cars....hopefully no Norovirus.
I removed the top 25 links area and the AAC links area going forward. All the scores and links will be in the conference tournament results below.
I'll focus on the Power 5 conference plus the AAC. Also any other results that I find interesting.

From David in Naples
Fouling UConn players is not a good idea. The Huskies have now taken 433 free throws and made 347 of them for an 80.1% rate. Opponents, on the other hand, have only made 134 free throws for a difference of 213 points. That is an additional 7.4 points per game. Much of that difference is attributable to UConn's excellent free throw defense holding opponents to a 67.3% success rate.
Leading the Huskies in free throw accuracy are Napheesa Collier and Moriah Jefferson. Collier is 34-37 for an amazing 91.9% make rate. Moriah has improved all season and is now 39-43 or 90.7%. One player over 90% is rare, two is unbelievable. UConn also has three players hitting better than 80% of their free throws. Katie Lou is 27-33 or 81.8%. Saniya is even better at 22-25 or 88%. Then there is Stewie. She leads the Huskies with 114 attempts, making 95 or 83.3%.
The other starters and regular subs are all over 70% in their free throw success rates. Gabby has really stepped it up with a 77.1% rate (37-48) and Morgan is no slouch at 73.6% (39-53). Kia Nurse had some early misses, but is now 31-43 for a 72.1% make rate.
The Huskies score just under 12 points per game from the free throw line. But, they score 76 points from the field when you don't foul them. Pick your poison.

Tennessee continued their improved play, beating Arkansas 68-51. It looked to me like they continued their momentum from the win against Georgia. There were some warning signs with the continued poor shooting, but Tennessee only had 10 turnovers and when they can keep the turnovers down they can win. They next play No. 15 Texas A&M. I haven't been impressed with them all season, so don't be surprised if Tennessee pulls off the upset. And the Tennessee fans hurt themselves jumping back on that bandwagon.

Dayton's season probably ended with a 66-62 loss to George Mason. The Flyers, who you might remember gave UConn a tough half in the Elite Eight, ended the season at 14-14. Coach Jabir had a tough season and it shows how he really caught lightning in a bottle last season.

I watched the end of the Vanderbilt/Georgia game and boy was that entertaining. Vanderbilt was down 6 points 44-48 with 1:21 left in the game. Georgia was terrible with the ball. They forced passes and looked totally unhinged. Vanderbilt closed to three 46-43 and had the ball with only 15 second left. Out of a timeout, they freed up Minta Spears for a three that she proceeded to miss. Vandy grabbed the offensive rebound and with ONE second left, Spears was fouled shooting a three pointer. Are you kidding me? Of course she made all three, even when Georgia tried to freeze her after she made the first two free throws.
Vanderbilt controlled a sloppy overtime and pulled away making free throws to win the game 54-49.
The Commodores didn't shoot well but their 35% from the field and 30% on threes was SO much better than Georgia's 32% from the field and 0-12 on threes. Both teams were sloppy with 21 and 20 turnovers.
