Here is my UConn/Notre Dame Pregame Report.

It looks like Brianna Turner will definitely be out for the UConn game Saturday and several games more. She will be out several weeks as she tries to rehabilitate an injured right shoulder so she can avoid season-ending surgery according to Coach McGraw.

Tough news by better than missing the rest of the season. Hopefully she can rehab and manage to play later.

Taya Reimer will be a game time decision.

I said this in my UConn/DePaul post game report but it is worth repeating. DePaul is going to be a handful by the NCAA tournament if not sooner. They are working into the lineup the two transfers from Illinois and they WILL have an impact. They play as well as a team as anyone in WCBB including UConn.

They were impeccable in their traps, sometimes having three defenders run at the ball handler. And it really shook up UConn, including first team AA Moriah Jefferson. UConn figured it out in the second half but that doesn't diminish the effort DePaul had for 40 minutes.

Add to that the many three point options and you have a challenge for any team.

They play Notre Dame, TXA&M, SDSU, Northwestern, and in conference St. Johns and Seton Hall. All tough games. It should be interesting. I'll be watching. GO DEPAUL!!!

1-4 Louisville upset No. 19 Michigan State 85-78 behind 20 points from Asia Durr. Durr, you might remember, was heavily recruited by Geno. She was the No. 1 recruit ahead of Katie Lou Samuelson in some recruiting sites. She has been hurting with a groin pull since the summer and has just played three games. It's good to see she is getting healthy. Durr is one hell of a player. Louisville is young and will get a lot better as the season progresses. Big win for them Thursday night.
