I forgot to post this yesterday.
Nothing like a good court storming, but Miami fans, please, you just beat Notre Dame a couple of years ago. Act like you've been there before!!!

Last night, Notre Dame lost again. This time to Miami, 72-65. Arike Ogunbowale, the best player ever, was 4-15 shooting for 13 points. She went 1-6 from beyond the three-point line. Most interesting, in the 4th period, Arike went 1-5 and missed both her free throw tries. She had 4 fouls and only 3 points. That's right, Ogunbowale had more fouls than points when it mattered. For the game, she had 3 assists, but none in the 4th period.
Also last night, L'ville won in a landslide against Syracuse, 76-51. The game was decided early with L'ville up 21 points at the half. Asia Durr, the 2nd best player in women's college basketball, shot 4-13 for 15 points. She went 2-8 from three-point range and managed 4 assists. L'ville was greatly helped by Syracuse missing 42 of their 62 shots. L'ville was barely better shooting, missing 39 shots and finishing at 41% shooting.
So while ND and L'ville were shooting 37% and 41% respectively in their last game, UConn's Katie Lou Samuelson went 9-11 from the field (82%) and 2-2 (100%) from three range. The Huskies shot 57% overall. Just saying...
Go Huskies..!!

We haven't seen stat lines like that this year? C'mon
I think the point is that even those great players have bad games.
