The Big 12 announced on Sunday evening that the Baylor at Kansas game scheduled for Wednesday has been postponed due to the Lady Bears not meeting Big 12 roster thresholds. This followed the cancellation of the UConn game with the Bears.
The Auburn women's basketball game with Missouri scheduled for Sunday has been postponed due to COVID-19 exposure on Auburn's side, the conference announced just hours before tip off.

Stats can be interesting and weird at the same time. Consider one of Aubrey's stats against Providence. She led the team with 9 rebounds. Oddly, 8 of those rebounds were offensive boards. Never seen a 8 to 1 margin for offensive vs defensive rebounds.
For those fans whining for Aaliyah Edwards to start in place of Anna all the time, are you aware Edwards has played 101 minutes and has 2 assists? That is the same number as Autumn Chassion and Piath Gabriel, the last two players on the bench. She also has 15 turnovers to go with just those 2 assists. But she is a post, they don't get assists very often... Why does Olivia have 17 assists vs only 16 turnovers? Not saying Edwards isn't very talented, but turnovers and getting the ball to the best place matters.
Finally, Nika Muhl has been doing her "O for America" impression of Anna Makurat. Currently, Nika is 0-10 in the 4 games she has played. Just a reminder, Anna went 1-13 before finally breaking the "O for America" streak. Look for Nika to break out next game...
Go Huskies..!!

No. 2 Louisville 70 Clemson 45 - Louisville used great defense to beat up on Clemson, holding them to 5 points in the fourth quarter. It was a close call for the UGGY award for Clemson. They were 0-18 on threes and had 19 turnovers, but as you will see, that was just not bad enough. The Cardinals were led by Kianna Smith with 17 points. Precocious freshman and former UConn target Haley Van Lith had a freshman struggle kind of game going 2-8 from the field and 1-5 on threes for only 8 points. She is no Bueckers!
No. 5 South Carolina 75 No. 10 Kentucky 75 - What a great game. A battle to the end with South Carolina finally coming out on top. Aliyah Boston led the Gamecocks with 20 points, 11 rebounds and 6 big blocks. She is just a rock in the paint. One stat stood out to me, and that was that South Carolina had only 6 assists on their 30 baskets. Their 17 offensive rebounds were huge. Kentucky was led by the omnipresent Rhyne Howard. She had 32 points and 7 rebounds and did that while going 0-5 on threes. The Gamecocks still appear to be the top team in the SEC
No. 7 Arizona 69 Washington State 71 OT - Well, the big upset of the day was unranked WSU tripping up No. 7 Arizona in overtime. The Mighty Mite, Aari McDonald came close to a triple double for the Wildcats playing 43 minutes and scoring 23 points, grabbing 11 rebounds and handing out 7 assists. Great game but it just wasn't enough. The Cougars closed a 9 point deficit in the fourth quarter to tie the game and won on a buzzer beater by Leger-Walker. Exciting game and the second loss in the week for Arizona. It should be interesting to see how far they fall in the rankings.
No. 8 Texas A&M 74 No. 13 Arkansas 73 - In another exciting game, Texas A&M scored on a Jordan Nixon layup with 1 second left in the game for the win. Arkansas was up 4 points with 35 seconds left in the game but Nixon would not be denied, scoring the last 5 points of the game. The SEC is one competitive conference this year. The Aggies were led in scoring by Aaliyah Wilson with 27 points. The Razorbacks took a DePaul-like 31 threes hitting 14 of them.
No. 9 UCLA 92 Utah 67 - Natalie Chou scored a career-high 28 points and UCLA rolled to a 92-67 victory over Utah on Sunday. Chou was 11 of 14 from the field, including four 3-pointers. Michaela Onyenwere added 17 points, nine rebounds and eight assists for UCLA. Kemery Martin led Utah with 18 points.
No. 11 Oregon 100 California 49 - Well, if you are looking for the UGGY award winner, look no further. California won it hands down. I bet you can't wait to scroll down and read so bad they were. Oregon was able to get to the century mark and win by 51 points. Oregon ended its two-game losing streak with this win. Six players scored in double figures for the Ducks. Thank goodness there were few fans of the Golden Bears in this home game that was able to watch this game in person.
No. 12 Maryland 83 Purdue 46 - Maryland won its eighth straight game overall and 22nd in a row in the Big Ten conference easily beating Purdue. Four Maryland players scored in double figures, led by sophomore Ashley Owusu with 19 points and nine assists.
No. 14 Mississippi State 60 Ole Miss 56 - Mississippi State was able to hold on against an improved Ole Miss team. The Bulldogs had an 8 point lead in the fourth quarter, but the Rebels wouldn't go away, cutting the lead to 2 points several times. Ole Miss was led by Donnetta Johnson with 25 points and Jessika Carter had 19 points and 9 rebounds for Mississippi State. Ole Miss will upset an SEC team this season. It won't be long.
No. 15 Michigan 70 Illinois 50 - Michigan’s best start in women’s basketball history continues. The Wolverines rolled to a 70-50 win over Illinois to improve to 9-0. Naz Hillman had another terrific game with 24 points and 13 rebounds. That was her 7th double-double of the season.
No. 19 Indiana 74 Wisconsin 49 - Ali Patberg scored 21 points, Mackenzie Holmes added 14 and Indiana easily beat Wisconsin. Patberg drained five of seven 3-pointers and dished five assists. I bet Notre Dame really misses her. When the Hoosiers are hitting their three pointers, they are a tough team to beat and they were 9-17 in this game.
No. 23 Michigan State 64 Nebraska 68 - Nebraska, a team that had lost to Creighton by 16 points (UConn beat Creighton by 33) was able to hand the Spartans a tough conference loss. Nebraska rallied from a five-point fourth-quarter deficit for the victory. This should knock them out of the Top 25. And deservedly so.

The Golden Bears were only able to score 41 points in this game. They managed 12 points in the 2nd and 3rd quarters combined.
You have to play some pretty bad basketball to manage that and they didn't disappoint.
They were 16-55 from the field for 29.1%. Bad but not horrific. Their three point shooting was another story. California was 1-16 on threes, hitting their only three pointer late in the game after starting 0-15. And their free throw shooting was pretty bad as well. Without anyone defending them they were 8-15 on threes. To top it off they had 23 turnovers and only 10 assists.
What the hell has happened to the Golden Bears? They went 19-13, 21-10, 19-12, before dropping to 12-19 last year before going 0-10 this season. It's a sad state of affairs for the California Golden Bears, but at least that had won one award this season. Congrats on your UGGY. It might not be your last.
