Let’s not overreact! Please support these young women as they are battling through a lot! They are not robots! What they are is absolutely amazing people! I BELIEVE in the process! It’s more than just basketball!

Thank you Paige's dad!!!!!! Yes, he does love is exclaimation points!!!!
It's clear he's been reading the social media out there. So many so called "fans" just love to kick a team while they are down. I just don't see the point.
I'm glad to see Papa Bear coming out to protect his cub. And his cub's friends!

Gotta love this!! I watched a lot of video of her in high school and she way amazing. The question was whether or not she could translate to Division I basketball. Well, there is no doubt about that now. When I saw her do the same hesitation move on a drive to the basket against Oregon that I saw her do several times in the HS video, I knew she could. It's at around the 3:40 opoint in the video below.
ONO and Caroline Highlights
I can't wait to see her on the court with Bueckers, Williams, and Fudd all healthy. Add in Nelson-Ododa and you have four capable scorers on the floor, It's definately a National Championship contender.

I truely believe that Toomey is the next player that will verbal to UConn. The No. 3 recruit in the class of 2023, she is just a great player and perfect fit for the Huskies!

And a quick video of UConn 2022 signee Ice Brady at a game Geno went to watch in Springfield.
On Friday, it was Auriemma who took the opportunity to watch Brady, a 6-foot-2 senior forward from San Diego ranked No. 5 by ESPN in the recruiting class.
"They ran an out-of-bounds play for her and she knocked down a three," Auriemma said. "That's unusual for a kid her size. That's a great thing. She's so comfortable shooting it. She is left-handed, and Jamelle (assistant coach Elliott) thinks that's an added skill, because it takes the other guy awhile to get used to.
And don't worry. She is really 6'3".

Straight from the Dog
It was good to see Kara Lawson's Duke team bounce back after a tough stretch. It was a close call against a spunky Miami team. The Hurricanes took a 45-44 lead with just under five minutes left in the game. But the Blue Devils outscored Miami 14-4 to finish out the game.
I hated Kara as a player at Tennessee but loved her as an announcer. She is so smart and can really explain the goings on in a basketball game. I would bet she does the same as a coach. Many Tennessee fans have decided to trash her when other Tennessee fans wished she was hired to coach the Lady Vols. It's amazing how they can turn on each other.
Fans are funny. Especially the Tennessee fans. They have trashed UConn for their performance without Paige, Azzi, and Christyn in the Oregon game with no consideration for the impact of missing those players. Come to think of it, so do many UConn fans but I disgress. But with their impact center and the Key (no pun intended) to their excellent defense Tamari Key out with a sprained ankle, they are all worried about taking on Georgia on Sunday. Such hypocrites. I certainly hope she is back on Sunday and Tennessee still loses, but if she is out, I hope the Lady Vols are hammered.
And my favorite Tennessee poster had this to say -
"i think on the boneyard they said unconn had share tv money with other acc teams. in big east unconn got more money. maybe acc little too hot so unconn got out of the acc."
acc??? unconn?? I guess I shouldn't make fun of the mentaly disabled.

In the 2003-2004 season, UConn had a record of 31-4 and won the National Championship. In 2012-13, the Huskies record was 33-5 and they made the Final Four. The next year, Stewie's first, UConn went 35-4 and won the National Championship. 13 loses and 2 NC titles & another Final Four. Regular season record does not matter if you make the tournament. What if UConn doesn't make the NCAA tournament? Seriously? Does anyone think there are 64 teams in country that are all better than UConn.
Nothing matters until March. The team is 9-4 with a whole bunch of Big East games ahead. Win what you can, get the injured players healthy and get in the tournament. In the meanwhile, other players (Caroline) are getting valuable experience. Next two games are Seton Hall at home & St. Johns in New York. Relax....it is only January.
