I guess Katie Lou was feeling better. In UConn's 83-41 win over SMU she had 19 points in the first half. She played all 20 minutes. I guess she will be ok for Monday so the worry warts out there can stop worrying.

Here are nine things that didn't happen tonight in the game against SMU. Hopefully, UConn fans can relax, realize the team is ready and enjoy the big game Monday versus South Carolina.
1. Katie Lou didn't miss all her three point attempts. She made the 1st try and finished 3-6 or 50%.
2. Saniya didn't have a turnover (again) to offset her 7 assists.
3. Napheesa didn't miss out on yet another double double, with 10 points and 13 rebounds.
4. Gabby didn't fail to impress with 11 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals and only 2 fouls.
5. Kia didn't play less than 30 minutes and didn't score less than 13 points.
6. Katie Lou didn't get an offensive rebound and Geno gave her a hard time about it. (Pheesa had 6..!)
7. SMU didn't make 16 of their 17 three point shots and didn't shoot above 25% from the field.
8. Crystal didn't stay in Geno's doghouse, playing 14 minutes in the 2nd half.
9. UConn didn't lose for the 99th time in a row.
Every starter scored in double figures, the defense had 14 steals & forced 23 turnovers and the Huskies racked up another 25 assists. Good performance with such a big game just days away. Right where they need to be..!!
