Happy Valentines day to my wonder wife!!!!!

We talked about the UConn offense. And it's terrific. But in Monday nights 66-55 point win over South Carolina, it was all about the defense. Oh, and Gabby Williams.
I will have so much more in my post game report. I have no plans on Tuesday, so I'll be working on that for a while!
I'm just exhausted from the stress!!!
I believe that many news outlets had their articles mostly written before the game as there were so many links just minutes after the game was over. Enjoy!

What a great game between Texas and Florida State where the Longhorns upset the Seminoles in double overtime 92-88. This games deserves more than the one link in the top 25 section, so here are a few more.

UConn defeats South Carolina 66-55 in a contest that played just like Husky fans expected...well, most of them. South Carolina is now 0-14 versus #1 teams and 0-5 against Geno's teams. Here's where the game was won, as predicted.
1. Assists - UConn, led by Crystal with 7, had 20 assists. SC had 10.
2. South Carolina went 9-14 or 64% from the free throw line. UConn went 10-10.
3. Gabby and Napheesa ran their big opponents ragged and scored 44 points. Wilson & Coates had 27 points on just 22 shots.
4. Geno's brilliantly designed defense dared SC to shoot threes. They went 6-21 or 28%.
On a night when Katie Lou and Kia combined for only 9 points, UConn got ahead and did just enough on offense to win comfortably. Defense was awesome with 8 steals and 17 SC turnovers. They held SC to 35% shooting and 55 points. That won't beat this Husky team..!!
Go Huskies..!!
