Here is a link that has the video of her announcement. Scroll down. It was pretty cool!!
Add her to No. 14 Mikayla Coombs, No. 29 Lexi Gordon , No. 37 Andra Espinoza-Hunter makes UConn's 2017 class the best in the nation. The rich just get richer.
In addition to this fine class, UConn will have Junior Azura Stevens and Sophomore Batouly Camara. Minutes will be tough to come by next season!!!!
Here are a few videos of Megan.....enjoy!!
Look for links about her commitment in the UConn Links section.

The team I love to hate, Tennessee, has added the No. 2 recruit in the 2017 class to their roster.
Evina Westbrook, a 6' guard out of South Salem HS in Oregon has committed to the Lady Vols. Westbrook is a dynamic player that will really help Tennessee in the off-guard position. She has terrific ball handling skills, terrific in the break and has a solid mid-range game. She is also an excellent defensive player.
Add her to their other two recruits, No. 8 Anastasia Hayes a 5'7" point guard and Kasiyahna Kushkituah a 6'4" post and you have the makings of a great class and the second best right behind UConn.

In the 2nd exhibition game against Pace, Katie Lou Samuelson played 12 minutes, scored 6 points and sat on the bench for the whole first half. Skeptics already are bringing up last season's "slow start" for KLS and wondering about UConn's chances to survive the brutal first 12 games of the season. Don't worry about Katie Lou and keep in mind the following facts from her Freshman season:
1. Samuelson made more 3 pt shots her freshman year than Maya Moore. (78 vs 73)
2. KLS had more assists her freshman year than MoJeff. (82 vs 69)
3. By grabbing 124 rebounds, Katie Lou beat Morgan Tuck's 120 boards in her first season.
4. She had a better 3 pt shooting % in her first year than Kaleena (39.4% vs 38.4%)
5. As a freshman, KLS had a better free throw % than Taurasi did either junior or senior year. (83.7%)
6. Katie Lou scored more points her first season (408) than Sue Bird in any of her first 3 seasons. (41, 405 & 369)
Katie Lou did all that with the incredible expectations that come with being the #1 recruit in the country. She also survived the usual freshman "wall" that occurs when players realize high school basketball is no where near what Geno wants, everyday in practice. Relax, sit back and enjoy what KLS will deliver this season.
Go Huskies..!!
