Just in case you missed it, here is my UConn/Dayton Post Game Report.

She has narrowed her choices to UConn, Texas, Baylor, Houston, South Carolina, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Duke, UCLA, Louisville, Ohio State and Southern Cal.
I'm hopeful. She attended First Night and left with an offer.
I'll post more about her later IF she commits to The Huskies!!!

UConn's next opponent, Chattanooga, played Friday night and lost to a very good Green Bay team 71-55. GB lost to Notre Dame in a close game 71-67 for their only loss. The Lady Mocs have one more game before playing UConn, a Sunday game at 6:00 against Maine. I plan to have my Pre Game Report right after that.

A few top 25 observations -
Saturday's Gulf Coast Showcase final will be between No. 8 Ohio State and No. 11 Syracuse. One of these teams will leave Florida with two losses for the season to date and a drop in the rankings. The ever confident Syracuse will be ready for Ohio State with their vaunted full court pressure. Kelsey Mitchell for OSU will be something to watch if she can break the press. She loves to run and shoot on the run. She could put up a big number, even if Syracuse wins.
Speaking of Syracuse, they played Jen Rizzotti's new team, George Washingon, and she had to be pleased in the close loss to The Orange. They were able to close 71-68 with 30 seconds left in the game. After two SU free throws, GW hit a three to close to two, 73-71. Georgetown turned Syracuse over but immediately turned it over right back and had to foul. The Orange only his one and GW had one shot to tie with 7 seconds left. Unfortunately, the shot missed and GW lost 74-71. It was a great effort and the GW players never gave up. Just like their coach. I'm always rooting for Jen!!!
No. 10 FSU, who gave UConn all they could handle on opening night for the Huskies, won their first Top 25 game against No. 25 Gonzaga 87-69. Leticia Romero, who didn't play in that UConn game, led the Seminoles with 25 points. You might think that FSU might have won that opening game with Romero in the lineup. It's a fair argument. FSU is going to be a handful this year. They have a terrific three-some in Romero, Wright and Thomas.

As you can see when you read David's Fun With Numbers, UConn has a lot of games in a short timeframe in December. Three games in six days? Shoot me now. Three more in ten days? Get out the divorce papers.
I'll do my best, but I might not be able to do every pre game and post game reports.

By David in Naples!!!!!
Tuesday's game against Chattanooga is the last of five opponents UConn will face in November. With a good effort, the Huskies could finish the month at 5-0. But, December will offer seven hard games that each should challenge the Huskies.
December 1st, 4th and 7th sees UConn facing three tough games against DePaul, Texas & Notre Dame, in just six days. That will be followed by three more games, in 10 days, versus Kansas State, Ohio State & Nebraska. The killer schedule wraps up in Maryland.
UConn is young and still working out the chemistry & team play issues that were second nature last season. December will offer the hot flame of pressure & competition that will forge the Huskies into a single unit or burn them up. Odds are they will emerge a better team, ready for AAC play and the Tournaments to follow.
Go Huskies..!!
