I'd like to nominate this post on a UConn message board as the dumbest post of the season. Yeah, I know, the season is only a couple of days old, but this one is a doozy.
"Is it possible that the team (even the coaches) will think...
Well, next year we're really loaded.
And this year we're not.
Is it really worth working that hard this season...we're somewhat undermanned, probably won't win it all.
Let's just wait 'till next year to put our best effort in.
I know...heresy
But also human nature"
Wow. I mean, has this poster ever watched a UConn team? Ever heard about how hard Geno is on the team in practice? What his philosophy is?
Dumb as a rock.
Oh...he also said he was proud of it and wanted his name attached. I'll accommodate.
Michael Feldman of New York, NY and St Johnsbury Vermont.........and a true troll.

Tennessee opened their season with a victory over James Madison University, 81-69. They looked dreadful, leading by only 2 points after three periods. Here are the sad facts:
1. Diamond DeShields scored only 10 points on 11shots.
2. Tennessee had 18 turnovers vs 13 assists.
3. The Lady Vols shot 33 fouls shots vs 16 for JMU. Their 25 made free throws accounts for the margin of victory.
4. JNU player Precious Hall scored 39 pts, including 7 threes. Tennessee could not adjust and stop her.
5. Tennessee was out rebounded 44-39 by the shorter JMU.
The 3 leading scorers for Tennessee had 13 of the team's turnovers vs 7 assists. They don't share the ball and turn it over often. Going to be a long season.
