HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL THE UCONN FANS
AND LOYAL READERS OF THIS BLOG!!!!
I'm so thankful! For my wife, my kids, my grandkids, my retirement life, my friends, my improved golf game, my health and all of you.
Believe it or not, since I started this blog, I am up to over 263,000 views since October of 2014. I started out with under 200 views per day and now I am between 800-1200 depending on when UConn is playing.
Thanks for motivating me to write every day!!!
Here is my UConn/Dayton Post Game Report.

Big night Wednesday in my bowling league!!! 221-215-189 for a 625 series!!!!
Geno just loves Dangerfield. I haven't heard him this effusive with his praise to early in a player's career in a long time. He has also killed her at times, but that is just motivation. I think he really thinks she is something special.
I have watched the sequence of passes she made in the Dayton game a few times now. As Geno has said, it's something that she just has. You can't teach that kind of spatial recognition. She sees angles before they open up, like a QB throwing to space before the receiver makes his move. You either have it or you don't.
It was amazing to me that in those series of passes, she never looked at the receiver of her passes. She didn't necessarily look away but she never gave away who was getting the ball with her eyes. She must have extra-special peripheral vision where she can see without looking directly at the player.
We are going to see some amazing things from Crystal this year.
I'm weakening on the possibility of her starting this year. As my friend Cat said, "Dangerfield is better than I thought she'd be at this stage". Much better.

By David in Naples!!!!!
After winning all 4 games, in just 8 days, UConn will take a week off for Thanksgiving. Geno and staff will use the break to review, teach and emphasize what the young Huskies can improve upon. While there are always things players can do better, their progress so far has been extraordinary. Consider:
1. The margin of victory for the four games has been 2, 11, 23 and 33. Looks like improvement...
2. Offensively, UConn has scored 78, 72, 76 and then 98 points.
3. Katie Lou, Napheesa and Gabby are averaging 21.8, 17.0 and 12.0 points per game.
4. UConn is shooting 44.7% from three range, while holding opponents to 32.8%
5. The Huskies have 79 assists on 115 baskets, while shooting 48.3% overall.
6. As a team, UConn is shooting 79% from the free throw line.
7. After turnover totals of 17, 11 and 20 in the first 3 games, UConn only gave up 9 to's.
This whole season will be a work-in-progress. Geno and his staff have got to pleased with the effort and results to date. Stay tuned...
Go Huskies..!!
