These 3 games in 6 days is a killer. No, not for the team but for me. Pre game, post game, pre game, post game, pre game, post game and all the Dailies. 12 blogs in a week. I must be crazy. So, tonight will be brief. Well, brief for me.

Nice win by UConn and superior performance by Katie Lou. 28 points. 7 threes. Awesome. The team performance? Meh. They can play so much better. But winning 76-53 against a much improved LSU team is still a solid job.
Here is the LSU Post Game Report. Brief, but informative!

No. 1 Notre Dame played a tough No. 17 Washington team. The Irish used a 25-8 first quarter to take a big early lead and held on. Turner had a double double with 10 points and 12 rebounds, Westbeld had 14 points and 8 rebounds. Ogunbowale led ND with 17 points. Notre Dame is a very good team, but I can see them losing a few games in the ACC this year. They don't have that killer look as in years past.

The team I love to hate lost Sunday and that is almost as much fun as a UConn win!!! Tennessee was beaten up by Penn State 70-56 in University Park, PA.
Tennessee has some very good players. Mercedes Russell has dominated some games and had a double double with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Rising star Jamie Nared had 18 points and 11 rebounds. Both of these two players led the Tennessee comeback that closed the gap to four points 44-40 at the end of the third quarter. But the Nittany Lions roared back in the fourth quarter to pull away for the 14 point win.
It really looks like more of the same for Tennessee. DDD had her typical game of a team leading 15 shots and she was way off with only 4 makes. She did have five assists, but offset that with her four turnovers. She hurts more than she helps when Tennessee is not winning easily.
Tennessee fans went nuts over Middleton when she had a great game a few games ago. But against the good teams, she just can't perform at the same level. She was scoreless in this game. And the starting point guard, Reynolds, played 35 minutes with only one assist and three points.
It's all about the coaching for this team. And it's not a good story.

By David in Naples!!!!!
Last season, the game leader in scoring, rebounds or blocks was usually Stewie. For assists, steals or breakaway lay ups, it was Moriah. This year, everyone is getting into the statistical act. Three games, three different leaders.
Points:
1. Collier 28, Chong 16
2. Crystal 19, KLS 16
3. KLS 28, Nurse 15
Assists:
1. Saniya 6
2. Kia 6
3. Kia 8
Rebounds:
1. Napheesa 8
2. Collier 11 (see what I did there)
3. Gabby 10
Turnovers:
1. KLS 4
2. Natalie 3
3. Crystal 6
With the exception of a few repeats, the whole team is getting in on leading in one stats category or another. Maybe this is going to be the season of balanced contributions.
Go Huskies..!!

Eh ....I don't know.....everybody blames the coach and/or the coaching with Tenn but remember how Geno recruits. He constantly talks about recruiting the right people. Sure Tenn might recruit top talent but that talent might not be the right kind of talent. It might be that no amount of coaching can coach certain players. It might be all about the recruiting.
