I see a lot of hand wringing and worry about the Baylor game, as if losing makes it less fun to root for the UConn women's basketball team.
I would call those fans of winning, not UConn women's basketball.

In any event, here is my UConn/Baylor Pre Game Report.
By David in Naples!!!!!
UConn's victory against FSU was the 21st straight victory in regular season openers. The Huskies last loss, in the first game of the season, was in November of 1995 vs Louisiana Tech. It was a 2 point loss.
Overall, Geno is 28-4 in his 32 years at the helm. In the last 26 years, UConn is 24-2 opening the season.
Extending that regular season, first game streak, on the road, against a top 12 team is remarkable. The only two returning starters from last season's opener vs Ohio State were Kia Nurse and Gabby Williams. They scored 26 points that game. Monday, those two scored 11 points. The three replacement starters for Stewie, Mo and Morgan (who apparently graduated) were Napheesa, Saniya and Katie Lou. They scored 58 of the team's 78 points.
Go Huskies..!!
