GO UCONN!!!!!
***********************************************
I found the best place to get the UConn games broadcast on SNY. Someone had said Youtube TV. But that was $60 a month. This is for free. I watched the game Friday night and reception was perfect.

I'm not sure if you need to have foxsports on your cable TV to get this but I had no problem.
Great game tonight!

UCONN 98 Providence 53
No surprise here. At least the final score. I believe UConn was favored by 35+ points and it ended up 45.
The Huskies were firing on all cylinders against the overmatched Friars and pretty much could have called the marging of victory.
I won't go into too many details. Just some highlights.
Five players with double digit scoring. Two with double doubles. One with double digit assists (guess who).
Edwards with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Griffin with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
Lou with 18 points, 4-5 on threes.
Fudd with 16 points, 2-3 on threes.
Muhl with 12 assists, 7 points and 2-5 on threes.
Ducharme with 10 points on 2-4 threes, 5 rebounds, 4 assists.
Patterson with 3 points and 4 assists.
That was the regular rotation. The end of the bench did well tonight.
Bettencourt with 6 points, 2-2 on threes.
DeBerry with 6 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 2 blocks.
Everyone contributed. Best I have seen DeBerry in her career. I sure hope she can build on this.
The team was just amazing, 98 points, 61% from the field, 13-23 on threes and once against this great passing team was just fantastic with 28 assists on 36 baskets. That's 78%. Unreal.
Working on the Notre Dame Game Preview. Getting close. I have to add in the most current stats and tweak the analysis a little bit.

Straight from the Dog
Can they do it? The Orange idiots feel good about their chances. The Lady Vols host No. 11 Virginia Tech
and really need this statement win to get back to the Top 25 and improve their chances at a good seeding in the NCAA tournament. Virginia Tech is undefeated and have a terrific center in 6'6" Elizabeth Kitley. She is averaging 21 points and 11.6 rebounds per game. She will be going against another 6'6" center in Tennessee's Tamari Key. They played against each other last season with the Lady Vols winning 64-58.
Key had 11 points, 12 rebounds and 5 blocks in 35 minutes. She totally intimidated Kitley into 1-12 shooting. However, it does appear that Key has regressed and Kitley has improved. Should be an interesting game to watch. An appetizer at 1:00 Sunday before the 3:00 UConn game.

Another Orange team, this time burnt orange, the 22nd ranked Tesxas Longhorns, continute their drop in the rankings. They lost to South Florida 70-65 to drop to 3-4 on the season.
Rory Harmon, their start sophomore point guard is back and it didn't matter. In spite of her 13 points, 3 assists and 3 steals, the Longhorns lost again.

In Big East news, No. 25 Villinova will sadly be bumped from the top 25 after losing to fellow Big East team No. 13 Creighton 67-46. It wasn't close even though Villanova won the first quarter 19-9.
Maddy Siegrest had 25 points and 8 rebounds for the Wildcats but it wasn't nearly enough.
Molly Mogenson had 22 points and shot 5-6 on three pointers for the Bluejays. Creighton is a really dangerous team.

Scoring in first 4 minutes of Q3 NC State 9 Iowa 3
9 Number of points scored by Clark before anyone else on her team scored
4:25 Minutes and seconds into the game before NC state scores a basket

36 Number of points scored by Iowa's other nine players
2-3 Iowa's record when Clark scores 40 or more
55% NC State FG shooting percentage
