The ACL injury is terrible news for Harrison and the Lady Vols. On a human level, it's a horrible way to end your college career. She deserved better, but sometimes it's just not in the cards.
On an impact to the team level, this is devastating to Tennessee. Yes, yesterday Tennessee was able to ride the emotion of losing their best player to a win over Kentucky. But Tennessee just out toughed the Wildcats once the injury happened. I don't see that continuing for very long. You can only run on adrenaline for so long before you crash.
They just got extremely small and the games against Georgia and especially South Carolina will be extremely tough. They suffered two of their three losses the last time they played without Harrison.
At 6'2", Burdick, Graves and Nared are the only height and Graves is really the only post player. They will have to press, trap, and force turnovers.
Harrison was their leading scorer at 12.8, their leading rebounder at 9.6. She was extremely effective playing only 23 minutes a game. Not a big shot blocker but she was the only threat to defend the post. She is really the only player they couldn't afford lose.
My guess is they lose to South Carolina in the remaining 4 games in the regular season. They could lose to Georgia in the rematch. Then in the SEC tourney, I can't see them getting past the second round. NCAA tourney? I'll wait to see the matchups.

Two prior UConn opponents played each other in a tough ACC matchup. Notre Dame beat Duke 63-50 in the second game of the ESPN2 Big Monday Game.
Notre Dame took 23 threes, a lot more than they usually do (12 per game) and made a season tying 9 of them. They also ran the Blue Devils silly at times with fast break points. All this to negate the early inside advantage for Duke and beat Duke's zone.
Defensively ND played a box and one against Duke's Greenwell effectively taking her out of the game. Great more by McGraw.
No surprise here as the Notre Dame guards just dominated the Duke guards.
This gives Notre Dame the inside track to their second consecutive ACC title.

Ugly Game Of The Day
Monday's winner comes from the MEAC conference. Hampton defeated Morgan State 78-44.
The 44 points by the Lady Bears were created by 21% FG shooting, 17% (3-18) three point shooting and 21 turnovers. They earned the latest Monday UGGY awards. Congrats!!!!
Honorable Mention
Gotta give a shout out to Duke who scored 50 points shooting 34% from the field, 0-12 on three's, 8-16 on free throws and 19 turnovers.
