I've been putting a lot of energy in the upcoming South Carolina Pregame report, so here is an abbreviated DoggyDaddy's Dailies. I promise, it will be worth it.

Thursday was big night in deciding the PAC 12 regular season championship. To set the stage, Oregon State is still undefeated at 10-0. They are playing against Washington on the road. Stanford is playing  Arizona State. Going in, both were 9-1 with future games against Oregon State for each.

And the results - Washington pulled off a huge upset, handling Oregon State 76-67. This knocked the Beavers out of the undefeated conference top stop alone and tied them with the winner of the Stanford/Arizona State game.

In a game that Stanford had a 12 point lead 42-30 with 15 minutes remaining in the game, Arizona State went on a 16-0 run to take a 46-42 at the 7:44 mark. After exchanging a few baskets, the score was 53-46 with 5:30 left in the game. Believe it or not, Arizona State was held scoreless for the rest of the game, turning the ball over 3 times, missing three shots and 2 freethrows. Stanford could not capitalize, coming up short after missing a shot at the final buzzer, 53-52.

Arizona State and Oregon state are now in a battle for 1st in the conference, tied at 10-1. It looks like Stanford will not win the PAC for the first time in a long time.

Ugly Game Of The Day

Thursday's winner is an old punching bag for UConn, Providence College. They were slammed by another old UConn punching bag, Seton Hall 67-40.

The Friars only managed 40 points on 25% shooting, going 3-9 on three's with 17 turnovers.

Congratulations, PC. You win yourself an UGGY!!!!
