Baylor is putting a stranglehold on a No. 1 seed in my opinion, winning their 24th straight game, beating Texas Tech 67-60 and clinching a tie for the regular season Big 12 title. If they can win out and win the Big 12 tourney, it's all but a lock. But they didn't play like that is a sure thing. They were only up two, 61-59, with 1:28 left in the game before sealing the game with free throws.
Not a very impressive win for Baylor against a below average Texas Tech team. But a win is a win and they can reach their short term goals in what I consider a mediocre Big 12.
Ugly Game Of The Day
Wednesday's Ugly Game of the Day award goes to the Lady Demons of Northwestern State.
In a Southland conference matchup with Nicholls State, they were only able to manage 40 points on 26% field goal shooting, a sparkling 6% (1-16) on three pointers and 17 turnovers.
They had a devil of a time in this game. Congrats on winning the UGGY!!!!
