Thursday morning starting early!!! So just a quick blog now and maybe more tomorrow.

Well, I can finally breath again! What a crazy game. UConn looked like they hadn't played for a week. Oh yeah, they hadn't! But they came through when it counted, led by their two seniors. UConn overcame their worst long range shooting game in a long time going 2-17 on threes.
Collier had 23 points and a career high 18 rebounds and Samuelson had another double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
After a three pointer by terrific freshman Robertson for Oklahoma to give the Sooners a 57-50 lead with 8:22 left in the game, UConn went on a 22-6 run to close the game. Check out David's numbers for more stats.

Come from behind victories are sweeter than blowouts. UConn played the whole 40 minutes and Oklahoma melted in the 4th period. The Huskies outscored the Sooners 24-11 to escape with the victory.
Critical to the win was 14-15 free throw shooting. On a night when UConn couldn’t buy a three-point basket (2-17), they need all the charity stripe points. They also needed Napheesa to score 23 without even trying a three. Her 18 rebounds were a career high and the points were a season high.
Up next for UConn is California on Saturday.
