UConn hasn't played Seton Hall since 2013. As part of the Big East, UConn played them early and often. In the late 70's and early 80's prior to Geno coming on board, Seton Hall won the first 6 games they played. The last time that Seton Hall won was in 1994 and since then UConn has won the last 29 times these two teams have met.
No current game highlights but I found a couple of other videos from years past.
This one is hysterical. Someone obviously video'd this from their TV. Just a couple of basketball highlights, but the cup incident is so funny. I didn't know they shared!
I love this video. A great flash from the past to see how
terrific this team was, especially Maya!!
Team Overviews
Seton Hall
No. 1 UConn is now 8-0 after beating St. Louis 98-42 in the game after their destruction of Notre Dame where they won 89-71. UConn opened the season with a solid 85-53 win over Ohio State. They followed that with another very good win against Vanderbilt 80-42. In winning the Paradise Jam, the Huskies beat Ole Miss 90-50, St. John's 65-55 and Purdue 86-40. And in their last game they put the hammer to DePaul winning 99-63. That's seven Power-5 Conference teams with 2 against the SEC, 2 against the Big Ten along with two wins against Big East teams and one against the ACC. UConn looks to go 3-0 against the Big East....ahh...the good old days.
The stats for Seton Hall are really impacted by the really weak schedule. Really.
Seton Hall
Seton Hall has had a terrific start to the season, only losing to UCLA 78-62. They have won all seven of their other games and only the Princeton game at 70-66. They are averaging well over 90 points per game in the other 6 games. But those games are against a really weak schedule. They beat Wagner (RPI 320) 95-40, Kennesaw State (RPI 269) 102-80, University of Texas San Antonio (RPI 255) 84-53 and in their last three games since the loss to UCLA they beat up on St. Francis (BKN) (RPI 227) 100-77, UMass Lowell (RPI 297) 90-57 and Saint Peters (RPI 248) 90-47. Not exactly a tough schedule.

Game Analysis
I'm mostly going by box scores and roster info for this analysis. I looked for a current game replay but no luck. We will see how accurate this turns out.
Seton Hall is a small team that looks to rely on quickness on defense to trigger their offense and once in an offensive set, look to find an open three point shot. There, how's that for box score and roster analysis?!!
They have started only 3 players every game in 6' forward Shadeen Samuels, 5'5" guard Nicole Jimanez and 5'2" guard Victoria Cardaci. They started 5'9" guard Inja Butini but she has missed the last two games. I looked for an injury update, but no luck on that front. Instead, I'm guessing they will start 6'4" center Kimi Evans and 5'2" guard Kaela Hilaire.
The bench sees plenty of time as they have 11 players with double digit minutes. But against UConn, it's always hard to say who the Seton Hall coach will trust. Their only size off the bench are 6'2" freshman forward Femi Finous and 6'1" freshman forward Whitney Howell.
Seton Hall is a high scoring team, averaging even more than UConn at 86.6 point per game. How do they do it? Well, they shoot around 30 three pointers every game and hit a very nice percentage of 37%. They are led by Samuels at 41%, Jimanez at 36% and Cardaci at 42%. Amazingly, Jimanez has taken 91 shots and 75 have been three pointers.
It looks like they like to turn defense into offense. They steal the ball an amazing 14 times per game! Is that because they press or do they get into passing lanes? I'm guess at their size they press a big. It could be more effective than normally with Megan Walker out and Kyla Irwin in. We could see more of Coombs if Irwin struggles and turns the ball over.
UConn has a tremendous size advantage in this game and will look to use it. The Pirates have no one to match up with any of the front court players in 6'3" Samuelson and the 6'1" Collier. They will post up and kick back out when Seton Halls doubles down low, and they will have to do that in order to stop easy inside buckets. When the Hall presses, UConn has the players to break it. Yes, the Huskies will occasionally turn it over, but with Dangerfield and Williams controlling the ball and Samuelson and Collier giving them big targets, UConn should score off the press more than they turn it over.
UConn's matchup zone defense will give the Pirates a ton of problems. I certainly don't see them scoring anywhere near their average points per game.
Final Prediction
It should be a fun game to watch. Seton Hall clearly likes to get up and down the court and will try to speed up UConn. Geno will want to play at his pace. Fast but not too fast.
The Huskies defense will give Seton Hall fits and if they can't turn UConn over, they won't be able to put a lot of points on the board.
The Huskies in a run away. 30+.
