Sophomore Lexi Gordon is leaving UConn for a school yet to be announced. I'm not sure she has decided but both of her parents went to TCU, close to home.
She wasn't getting the playing time she wanted. Players want to play. Good luck in the future to Lexi.

Of course the panic is setting in for the UConn fans that call their home the UConn message board. But the funniest thing is the worry about depth. I mean, how stupid are these fans. Yes, UConn is down to 10 players, and only 9 for next season. But the player you are losing has played in only 4 games for a total of ten minutes. How the hell can that impact the depth of this team unless you believe 3-4 players will not be available for a particular game. Oy...…..

Almost all UConn fans know and love Napheesa Collier. Most know she is tearing up the Huskies' record books. Here is an update on Pheesa and the all-time UConn statistics records.
1. Scoring - Collier has added 148 points to her career total and now stands at 1,757 points. That is good for 15th all-time with Tiff Hayes just ahead at 1,801. At her current pace, she might crack the top 5 in all-time scoring.
2. Rebounds - Pheesa already has 85 rebounds in just 8 games. Her career total of 893 places her 12th all-time. Next up is Swin Cash at 910 boards. Kerry Bascom and Kara Wolters are after Tiff at 910 and 915 rebounds. Pheesa has a chance to crack the top 5 in this stat as well.
3. Blocks - With 8 blocks so far this season, Napheesa now has 195 for her career. That is good for 8th place with someone named Maya just ahead at 204. Then Stef Dolson lies in 6th place with 254. Tina Charles at 304 seems a stretch, so Pheesa may have to setle for 6th place all-time.
Imagine an undersized, maximum effort forward like Collier finishing in the top 5 in scoring & rebounds and the top 6 in blocks...
P.S. - Napheesa Collier now has 25 career double-doubles in points and rebounds. By contrast, her best buddy, Katie Lou, has 1 career double-double.
Go Napheesa..!!
Go Napheesa..!!
Go Huskies..!!
